RDru and Presvoker are miles ahead of the other healers

Those 2 either need some big nerfs or the other 5 healer specs need some big buffs.

Quick glance at the top M+ healers as well as the top PVP healers will show that those 2 specs are dominating everything.

Nerfing Prevoker and Rdruid would be bad. Buffing the rest would be nice.

Sure, buffing the other 5 is still an indirect nerf to those 2 while making healing better overall in PVE/PVP

I feel like Blizz will take the lazier approach and hammer down the 2 nails sticking out tho

I agree nerfs would be bad. There are already some tough healing checks in M+ that are hard to meet even as a resto druid

No…no it’s not. It doesn’t harm their capability in any way whatsoever. I enjoy playing whack-a-mole on my holy priest, but I agree that resto is in a league of it’s own right now. That being said, I don’t believe a nerf is appropriate, and instead that encounters should continue to be tuned to ensure all classes are equitable.

Yep. Nerfing the two top performers would make everyone’s lives’ more difficult. I don’t really care that Pres and Resto are really good, so if they get indirectly nerfed no big deal (when it comes to ~tier lists~ or internal rankings, whatever). I think they’re where all healers should be.

If you look at presvoker and rdru they are in a spot where they are actually able to meet tough healing checks with good play. Then compare their power level with a class that actually needs nerfing which is prot warrior.

Prot warrior power level is so far above everything else and they are able to live impossible pulls where everyone else dies

The only thing that makes me angrier about disc priest then playing disc priest is playing my undergeared prevoker alt after playing disc priest.

The issue right now is more about tuning than healer balance. I’ve done almost every dungeon on a +19 or +20 (timed and untimed) and I can heal through them on my Holy Priest. Some fights just take extraordinarily more effort than others due to how much damage is constantly going out.

There’s also a lot of buffs for most healer classes already on the PTR.
