RDF please

You are correct but they did start to grow even bigger after LFG was in the game also that was 2009 its now 2022 and people play games differntly. Just like the server having so many more people on so few server with que times going for hours were people have to log in around lunch time to be able to play the game a few hours before bedtime.

RDF came out when ICC opened. That’s quite a ways off…7-9 months out. If you get it now, that’s NOT the way it was in original WotLK. Be patient. It’s not SUPPOSED to be out yet!!!

i swear I’ve heard that argument before…

They grew bigger due to ICC. Not rdf.

we’re running on patch 3.4, none of WotLK Classic is ‘the way it was in original WotLK’ for that very reason.

RDF was present in patch 3.4, and should be present in WotLK Classic.

ICC isn’t open. No RDF until that. At the BARE MINIMUM. They may never implement it. Prepare yourself for #somechanges.

by your logic we shouldn’t have dual-spec yet, then either.

To be honest man your probley right cause wow dev always wait at the end of the game to do changes that start helping the game as its about to change just like in retail lol.

Did they remove all the quests ?

Why do you think people are arguing for RDF, a group forming tool ?

It is a weird notion to think less friendships are made in RDF than LFG. Most people do not queue up to make friends, they want to play the game.

The arguments for anti - RDF are so weak.

Then if thats true then why not bring out LFG then. if it didnt help or hurt the game. But with LFG could help with the que times were people would be a little more open to tranfering off the mega server.

RDF wont help with que times.

People arent on these mega servers for just dungeons.

Nope, we are fine the way it is.

You guys just want an easy way to gain experience.

If you do not like it, there is Retail in all its deformed and twisted glory.

Then why do you think people flocked to the mega servers?

I have a lvl 80 already and LFG is not the fastest xp if I wanted fast and easy xp on my warrior I would be solo TBC dungeon. I am wanting LFG to be able to gear up my toons and alts and the play retail no I dont like retail but I do want some of the QoL changes that made the better to me.

That’s the problem, what about everyone else but you?

Also, even if you are not the type of player I am referring to, there are many players who are, just keep that problem away.

For now, eventually, Blizzard will add RDF, don’t know when, but they will.

That doesn’t make sense because there’s a lot of things not currently in game that was at the end.

Looking for dungeon for normal runs is needed. No reason to not have it, the sweaty crowd has moved on to heroics to push for server firsts. Slow levelers and alt aholics need Looking for dungeon. This has zero effect on hardcore players. Its silly not to appease the common player.

In my experience more flaming happened in RDF than anything. I did make a few friends there but for the most part people stopped talking altogether unless the tiniest thing happened at which time they would fly off the handle.

Raids. You know the End game stuff. We even have a lot of the alliance arena ppl here.

The way it happened in OG Wrath was that guildies or friends would ask each other if they wanted to run such and such. If there was a full group they’d simply queue and be teleported to the dungeon. We often made our own groups this way. If there was a spot or two left you’d queue and wait for them to fill. People played a lot with their friends and guildies using RDF back in the day.

BTW, I never said you were a gatekeeper and I never thought you were.

FTR our server is different because it’s fresh. There isn’t anyone running around in SW gear. I still talk to some of my friends on Westfall and there are stories…

And yes my characters name is a nod to the Iceni queen.

Nah. RDF Cheapens the world and all interactions.
