With RDF people wouldnt need to stack on mega servers lmao
Once again, FF14 is proof that you are just flat out incorrect
So what your saying the people I made friends with back in Wrath through RDF and one that I play with today is not social.
Oh or the guys they reroll on same servers through RDF and formed guild was not social.
Or the part where we inv a dps, summon, run dung and only words spoken at end was a ty or gg. This is the best social experience we are currently having right. I mean everything social in wow only come from forming a group yourself.
RDF led to LFR. People complained on abadoned/dead servers about the lack of people to queue with on their empty servers. When people canât raid are we going to expect LFR? Most likely because concessions made today will lead to concessions tomorrow.
Just ran H MGT on 3 toons, 2 of which are fresh boosties in full greens. Not a single word was spoken in any of them. I queued healer, got an invite, walked in the instance and we started pulling.
But yeah no totally, without RDF this game is a shining bastion of socialization. inb4 âyeah well that content is faceroll nowâ acting as if even Wrath heroics are anything different
Thatâs simply amazing you made friends in a lobby. This isnât a lobby game. This is a server based game. I know megaserver queue times are harsh but, donât ask for WoW to be dramatically altered for your convenience of having dungeon lobbies that teleport you to the location. If the servers are bad fix the servers. Donât add garbage that is ultimately Anti-Classic. If you donât like Classic youâre already paying for retail.
Rdf didnât create retail. Blizzard pruning every class, removing talent trees, catering to pet collectors over raiders are some of the reasons retail became what it is.
Not the ability to find dungeon groups faster. I used LFG bb throughout tbc classic, my âmeaningful social interactionsâ consisted of âready guysâ and âggâ. If I wanted to socialize I would invite guildies or friends, and hop in disc with them while we do the dungeon.
Rdf doesnât change this. If I want to group with randoms, now itâs faster with rdf, if I want to âsocializeâ Iâll make my own group with friends/guildies.
I have played this game since 2006ish. I have made more friends through RDF than I have server communities.
This is all you opinion. I supported the launch of classic of how much I hate retail. Wrath is by far no where clsoe to retail. Wrath was at the peak of how great wow was. I supported classic and TBC in hopes one day I would ahve my wrath without playing on a pvt server. Now not sure how long I will stay without RDF but def already unsubbed one of my accounts.
It dramatically alters Wrath to not have LFD in 3.3.5. Also, you never respond to the person who correctly points out that FF proves you wrong.
It is. It keeps servers together. Your rep is now important on that server for not being a ninja, slouch, etc. In RDF you can act like a tool or just boot the person youâre competing with for gear. Itâs a bad system that creates bad behaviors.
LFG channel is too toxic, elitist & immature, so Iâm happy to continue guild-only grouping & raiding in the absence of RDF. If Blizzardâs aim is to reduce/discourage pugging for tanks & healers, then they have succeeded.
Right, without RDF you just exclude anyone competing for same loot, how inclusive and community oriented. You just gate keep your groupâŚ
The gear is dungs is not that fking great lol. Spare me about loot. If you think the dung gear in wrath is so great the RDF will ruin it then clearly you didnt raid in Wrath.
So was Thanos
Maybe itâs time to stick to retail if you find the lack of RDF painful. This is a Classic experience. RDF will only lead to LFR as players are unable to find raids. It has happened already.
This one?
FF14 is a modern MMO that is built around modern concepts of convenience. FF14 is succesful for different reasons. No one is asking for bunny women in their Classic WoW experience. RDF is a concept built around modern MMOs. Lobby this and that. Disconnects from the server communities that WoW generated. Maybe you donât realize these separations existed and fostered these groups in such a way that is vastly different to games such as retail WoW and FF14.
But this isnât that. Classic was that, and to a lesser extent TBC. You had your games.
Nothing you said is relevant considering Blizzard is selling name changes for $10.
Also telling people to stick to retail if they want âdrastic changes that alter classicâ because theyâre asking for a feature that was added in the very expansion Blizzard is re-releasing is absolute comedy. You should take your own advice
FF14 is a game built with a dungeon and even raid queue system that has a thriving, friendly community that honestly in most instances puts WoW to shame. What youâve said is not an argument, itâs a deflection. FF14 is proof that being able to queue for instanced content does not ruin communities, communities ruin themselves
Clearly you donât understand that not everyone is going to be leet raiders such as yourself clearing Sarth3d day1 and having Ulduar on farm week2. Giving people the power to kick someone from a dungeon and there are zero repercussions to these acts only leaves a bad taste in their mouth.
Funny how the title is Classic Wrath. If you want to be a purist wait for ICC to be released for your RDF.
Sorry champ, that argument left the building a few hours ago when Blizzard released a queueing system that wasnât added until Ulduar.
