RBG’s are way too rewarding compared to arena. Arena sould get buffed conquest.

I think Blizz should go the other direction. RBGs and objective based PVP modes require more social interaction and a larger time investment. They also more closely resemble end game PVE. If anything, Blizz should remove gear from arenas and leave it in RBGs. Why should people get gear from matches that only take a few minutes and only require one or two other team members? That sounds more like an FPS than an MMO.

I completely agree with this. As someone who has just been pugging 2’s with no voice chat, and won’t go to RBGS for gear, my experience has been about 80% of my matches im out geared by both. It’s very slim both opponents have been as geared as me. maybe 1 to 2% or matches. I’ve been finding some success lately with a positive w/l by playing assassination with a healer. still no voice chat or consistent teammates and this is my first season in 8 years.
However, I think a true solution would be, scaling I level to bracket. EC, 1400-1600 players will be scaled to 207. You can’t take RBG gear away. Some people don’t like arena. That’s fine. You don’t have to scale my gear up if I only have 207 and hit 1600, let us still go buy/earn/use that gear, but if people have a higher Ilevel, scale them down.
Personally, I won’t be going to get the RBG gear. I know gear will keep my rating lower, but it’s more about the climb and obtaining that I find enjoyment in. I just hit 1400 in 2’s the other day and it felt so special to be able to upgrade that conquest gear the right way.

Y’all are really mad people want gear from doing RBGs? Like this REALLY tilts you guys? LOL have a day off and go outside it’s not that serious at all. If anything blizzard needs to do more class tuning and fix the MMR system along with the abuse of boosters.
Boosters aren’t that prevalent, it’s mostly just hardstuck 1.3k RBG kids with 226 gear that people are mistaking as boosters.

I agree, but at the same time the rewards are pretty much the same when you consider time spent. RBGs for 10-15 min vs arena that can end in a couple min.
That and at least RBGs are actually fun to play =D
