Can confirm the new amount is 10 eggs!
I just turned in number 9 and 10 and she flew down and rewarded me the mount!!

I just did eggs 7 and 8 today, I’ll try to additionally confirm tomorrow if 10 eggs is indeed the new target.

Nice deduction, it is 10 eggs, just got my mount after turning in egg 9 and 10, the matriarch came down and gave me my mount.

yep, was just about to post here stating that I just got it after ten eggs. I been telling my guild mates to hold onto their eggs until i get mine so they aren’t wasting them. like I said, looking at wowhead the max stack is ten, so it kinda makes sense.

just turned in 6 eggs at same time and it did not fly down to me. Just stayed hovering above. first day of patch i turned in 1 solo too.

Forgot to post here, but I did confirm it does indeed give the mount at 10 total eggs - so just two additional days of farming all in all.
