Razer Naga Pro or Logitech G600

Personally I prefer the Red Dragon product line. I switched to their products about three years ago and have not looked back.

IDK but I use Logitech G502 and love it.

Edit: While a gaming mouse it’s not a ā€œMMOā€ mouse. Doesn’t have all the buttons on the side.

I’m an old, dumb dog and can’t adjust to those.

I’ve chewed through multiple Nagas, they all lasted between 18 to 24 months. Currently have a G600 that I’ve had for like 4 years now, and it’s still running strong.

I’m an old dog myself but I’ve grown accustomed to the MMO mouse. The key though was two things:

  • Developing and refining a bind structure that is consistent in theme across characters. Something you will find in almost every keybind tutorial. Use the same keybind on all your characters for anything that is thematically similar. An example is for classes with a kick, put them all on the same button so when your brain says hey i need to interrupt its instinctual on all characters. That helps build muscle memory faster if you play multiple characters.
  • The other thing I did was i migrated gradually to it. I didn’t try setting up all 15 buttons on my mouse at once. I started with just the extra trigger button and front 3 buttons. When those felt good I added another row of 3, etc. Depending on your mouse button layout. A lot of people go all or nothing but honestly for clickers moving to keybinds or players adding an MMO mouse step into it and your still seeing gains a little at a time.

It’s good advice! I admit, however, that I balk at the idea of this game even needing a special mouse for all its keybinds in the first place.

Im forever locked into logitech’s ecosystem because I’m hooked onto logitech powerplay. Never knew how much dealing with cables or charging sucked until I got infinitely charged wireless mice

I had that same problem.

Under hard use, the tiny switch at the base of a button will fail in two to three years. That tiny metal leaf spring does not have an infinite fatigue life.

I have zero idea why Logitech would stop producing one of the best MMO mice on the market

I’ve had 3 of the Logitech G600s. First one lasted me about 5-6 years. Second one became my work mouse. Third one is hooked to my Steam Deck right now but I barely use it.

Great mice for someone with a big hand.

Had a Naga at one point and ended up returning it. Wasn’t the same feel to it. I might just be picky with mice though.

Actually talked to one of the production designers for the mouse a few years back. Politics was the simple answer. They were working on a wireless version and it was in testing but MMOs apparently were in a decline so it wasn’t getting approved.

I’d switch to at least one or two of them if I could get them in a wireless factor of some sorts.

Using Corsair IRONCLAW wireless mouse. Is been great. Light weight and I got a cheap like $49 on sale. Pair it with a Corsair K60 Backlit Mechanical Cherry MX Low Profile, The keybaord was also on sale for $49 Works great.

Hmmmm I been using my Logitech MX master since 2019 for work still going strong with in issue.

I’ve had two Nagas since I started using an MMO mouse over a decade ago. The second being a replacement for the first, but eventually I wised up and realized that all I have to do when the buttons start acting up is open it and give it a good cleaning. If/when the buttons stop functioning properly, it’s probably because crumbs of gamer gunk have worked their way inside and are messing with the contacts lol

You may not mash the buttons as hard, and that makes a big difference in fatigue wear.

The Naga Pro uses optical switches now that will ā€œsupposedlyā€ make the mouse last longer. That and the fact that it is wireless capable with Qi charging is a nice feature.

Personally, I like the Corsair Scimitar Pro. It’s cheaper by far and last a good 3-4 years. They just came out with a wireless version that I may try when this one gives up the ghost. I just want to be able to wirelessly charge it. I may be in for a good wait on that one.

I prefer Razer but Razer software is horribad and breaks sometimes. I have a gaming PC and a high-end MacBook, Razer on Mac is absolutely terrible.

I use a Logitech G502 rather than a MMO mouse bc it’s much lighter and has enough buttons to make any keybinds I need, also it’s more ergonomic.
