rawMouseEnable is set to 1, but I have to re-enter the command every login to remove camera acceleration

I’m having a strange mouse/camera issue and I’m wondering if anyone knows why this is happening or how to permanently fix it.

When I first log into WoW, my camera has noticeable acceleration. When i change rawMouseEnable to 1 it fixes it.

Here’s the weird part: After every log in, the acceleration comes back, I run:/dump GetCVar("rawMouseEnable")and it says its at 1 already, so WoW already thinks raw mouse input is enabled.

However if I then type: /console rawMouseEnable 1 again it goes back to how it should feel at 1. This has happened multiple times and my config is already set to rawMouseEndable 1

I tried: /script SetCVar("rawMouseEnable", 1) as well, but after restarting WoW the same issue returns.

i also have 0 add ons installed since i just clean wiped my Wow from my pc in hopes to fix it

Maybe try making sure your config.wtf is not set to read only? (right click it->properties->uncheck read-only->apply)

After that, when you log into the game and run the command to set it to 1, follow it up with a /reload to ensure it writes to the file and the server(not 100% sure if this value actually saves to the server, but it might).

config isnt set to read only! because when i log in and i /dump GetCVar(“rawMouseEnable”) it says its already at 1 but my camera is acting like when its set to 0… until i /console rawMouseEnbale 1 again thats the whole issue im having

I’m having this exact same Issue on WoWForever. The config is rawmouse is set to 1, but it doesn’t have any effect in game until I do the command /console rawMouseEnable 1. I have to enter this every single time I log in.
