Reverting the nerf might lift balance and guardian out of C-tier.
It’s 100% just a super quick season 4 bandaid fix, but I’d still love to see it. I think we could use it

Guardian won’t be out of C-tier until Incarnation is nerfed and some of that power put back to baseline.
I don’t want balance to be good because of an awfully designed skill. No, thanks.
I’d rather the specs be good on their own merits rather because of these garbagae Shadowlands system.
Just do a full revert to Legion balance druid already.
I’m talking strictly for Season 4. RF isn’t even in the Dragon Flight talent tree. And they aren’t going to do a full spec rework mid-season before an expansion launch.
I have to agree with Saeílfa, the issue with Guardian being where it is on the ranks has little to do with Ravenous Frenzy’s modifiers at all. Heck, I pulled between 15k-16k as a tank in a Lower Karazhan +15 this week, so that’s not the issue.
The issue is outside of that 3-minute cooldown, you do substantially less damage. The main benefit for tanks like BDK is the fact they have consistent damage on every pull and that paired with their current toolkit and tier is what makes them good.
The loss of Urh from S3 is what hurt Guardian druid more than anything else.
Had the defeat of a Shrouded mob given some form of CDR like it does Health/Mana then we probably wouldn’t be considered C-tier but until they decide to stop designing druid in general around a 3-minute cooldown, this is going to be the druid life.
They should actually entirely rework bears teir set to actually be useful outside of a 3 min cd. Its so sad that all they could actually think of was basically adding an extra 800 dmg that pulses onto incarn, meanwhile bdk resets their main cd while also gaining primary stat and more dmg.
Every other tank got significantly tankier along with a large amount of dmg.
They aren’t. WoW is on Cruise Control until DF Pre-Patch. It is what it is. You only have 2 options until DF. Play Bear or Don’t.
This. I think the team could maybe be convinced to make a small change. We aren’t going to get a massive rework though.
I think anyone saying “bear needs new tier.” Or similar level-of-effort changes have missed the point of my thread. I just think bear needs a tiny bump for this season, and something super low effort might actually get through.
RF bump boosts two specs that could use a bump this season. And it’s just reverting a nerf so shouldn’t be that hard
Considering they’ve nerfed the mass AoE from SV and Destro (yes, both are still strong), I think it’s unlikely they will revert the nerf to the tier set. I think the most we can expect is another single target damage increase, like the Mangle/melee buff we got, or possibly even a small % damage increase. Even then, I think any buff is unlikely.
