Haven’t pvped in a week so asking to be prepared.
Inflation sets in very slowly. It doesn’t happen in a week. Wait for like one more month or so.
Why is it so slow? I also heard it was much different in season prior?
You could look at the queues against tougher opponents as practice to improve. If queues are easy what’s the point
because there are max 100 players actively pvping

The season is 9 (ish) months long. That doesn’t really encourage people to pvp right off the bat. Especially if you are used to inflation in legion when we had 12 week seasons. On top of this we also have a lot of BiS pvp gear that is from pve, so a lot of players aren’t even pushing rating until they collect all their infinity stones so they can erase people from existence.

Inflation is caused by activity on the ladder. If the ladder is not active the inflation will not occur. A prime example of this is the last 2 weeks of the season.
