Why is there no minimum ilvl requirements for rated pvp, there are literally requirements for LFR. I was in two bg blitz each had a pve+blue geared mw monk, putting our team in a significant disadvantage before the gate even opened.
There are ilvl reqs for rated pvp
so a pve+blue geared person is good enough from this “requirements” and it is ok to let a single person dragging all of our ratings and mmr down?
Yes, honor gear and min PvE gear similar ilvl are the minimum req’s. Its like full honor gear and 1 purple conquest piece. Not exactly a good thing late season
the mw monk did 163k healing vs the other team’s fully geared 9 million or something healing, huge disadvantage due to bliz’s policies.
Thats unfortunate. Probably was new or a boosters alt doing that. Should be able to hit atleast 1M from some bubbles alone. Did you let them know you can get full conquest gear in a few hours from crate farming?
I hope to never have that person in my team again, the only thing I can do, really unfortunate game design very disappointing. Happened twice back to back, wsg and eots, 2 different mw monks.
Every new season everyone starts out with honor gear doing rated pvp. Thats why its the minimum req because not enough conquest is out yet. It just changes from mid to end of season because conquest eventually becomes uncapped
PvP Honor gear is 217 ilvl, when it PvP it becomes 285 ilvl for example. This is 100% acceptable gear to have on for PvP and is what most people will have.
Solo Queue Rated PvP has a minimum PvP ilvl requirement of 273 ilvl.

nope, before the gate open i can already see the other team’s 2 healer both above like 620k HP and one of mine is 500k flat, just finished a game like that. he was in the middle of the healing meter, even below some of the dps.

On a scale from 1-10 how much more miserable is this than just spamming 2s or 3s with someone from LFG?
I don’t do arena, but atleast its a 100% chance you will get full conquest in like 3 hours. I’d say listen to something or watch something while you are doing it. If its Nacho Party, they don’t run away from fights with alliance raids. Like a 2/10

Thanks a ton, I get a new mouse on like Tuesday or Wednesday so I’ll just watch Frieren for the eightieth time this month and try to pick up an oracle set and a … non oracle set. Is Icy Veins the place to tell me what stats to go for still? Someone showed me a really pretty website a few months ago but I don’t recall what it was.

The PvP ilvl requirement only requires you to have 273 average PvP ilvl either equipped or in your bags.
I think I found it, murlok dot io, it’s so pretty but overwhelming lol. Seeing multiple voidweaver priests in 3s, blitz, and shuffle makes me feel a bit more confident about just going voidweaver full time then.
