I don’t think it’s an internet issue. If I’m streaming it won’t dc when this happens, and I have fiber with like a 15-25ms

That’s interesting, I agree with Nas too lots of rubber banding this season and I swear it’s whenever a ret double freedoms lol
Pretty sure, yeah. My background is in IT and I’ve done a bunch of testing but I can’t find any performance issues with my network. If it’s not a network issue (either mine or Blizzard’s) then I’m guessing it has something to do with addons or maybe sound channel issues.
Yeah I’m computer illiterate just thought I should throw that out. It is weird though because you’d think this would be a blanket problem everyone was complaining about

Almost never have these issues. I’d check your addons, internet, computer, etc.
Should add it has happened to me once in the past few months. Map failed to load and was unable to join. I do think they need a fail safe there where if the map or instance fails to load, that you’re given a much longer grace period IF you didn’t actively choose to leave the match. Actively leaving should have a different penalty. Never actually joining being treated the same makes no sense given it’s outside of the players control.
Given how the game is instanced, I don’t think this would impact your connection while you’re in a match.
May be worth running a trace route and seeing if your data is getting routed poorly.
Sometimes I wonder if enabling and disabling this quickly would cause it to happen.
Can you make a macro that does this and use it as kind of a “lag switch”?
For the people having loading issues I found a fix back in BFA when hook point was the loading bane.
Fly to the open world area of the arena so your computer pre loads the zone files. Every q session would start with me flying to Boralus to pre load Hook point.

Just happened to me again. -_- This seems to happen more often in solo shuffle arenas than anywhere else. Most BGs are just fine.
It is not just Arena and Battlegrounds. I have noticed an increasing amount of performance stutters since the last patch. I can’t even open up a transmog screen without my game locking up.
Sometimes my game will stutter and move to my other monitor and i have to manually go into Video options to move it back to my normal monitor.
Last night I was on the 3rd boss in Cinderbrew and the second I pulled the boss the entire group reported their screen froze for the first 10 secs of the fight.

Yeah same… I was actually having some issues with stutter and I removed some add-ons and they went away. I haven’t had issues for a while.
Disconnects sounds a bit like a wifi problem. My laptop will sometimes disconnect but my desktop is hardwired in and never disconnects.

Crazy. I never have issues on my desktop. Might be your provider then if it’s that bad.

Yea, has almost always been an add-on issue for me. I did have one recent match fail to load and was in a game last night where a few people said they dc’ed. Nothing consistent though.

This has been happening to me recently, pretty frequently since the .7 patch when I launch the game it’s on the wrong monitor and the buttons aren’t synced with where they appear to be. Very weird, but relaunching usually fixes it.

In terms of toxicity it’s casual players in easy content > mid io keystone players > low-mid rated pvp players

Fixed because there are some unhinged players out there. They are good players but they can’t match the content they see on the ladder from other meta specs so it is everyone else holding them back.
Ya people who reroll the tier list specs for keys to barely be mid it’s wild
Title gonna be like 3800 idk why people care about meta unless they’re gonna be swinging range of that
