Rated 1v1 Bracket

Rating would be spec based anyways like solo shuffle, who cares. If a spec is good, its ladder will be inflated, if your spec is bad in 1v1s it will be deflated, no diff than ss or bgb, which some specs do awfully in rn anyways

Id have fun with it on a few classes, but also part of me thinks this is actually a ā€œyou think you do but you dontā€ situation. There’s definitely an expectation vs reality thing going on here.

In your head you envision yourself going toe-to-toe against an equal opponent and winning a close battle after exhausting all your CD’s and making something happen with skillful cc/interrupts.

In reality a rogue just opens on you, fully dots you, COS+sprints around collecting the sight eyes, then vanishes and waits for you to slowly tick down from bleeds/poisons, then kills you in a cs+cs+cs+garrote from 50%-0 with basically 0 counterplay (for a lot of classes). This will be how >50% of the games you play pan out.

I do think it would be competitive for rogues vs other rogues, and rogues vs mages though

I actually think rogue would struggle against a whole lot of specs right now, rogue cant really stunlock many specs anymore, especially warriors,dk,warlock, priest, even shaman or most hybrids would give rogue a tough time, with having essentially no heals, id actually argue rogues would struggle in mid to high rated games if 1v1s existed

That’s why they would bleed kite

This is why rogues are always overtuned most people try to play them like fury warriors
