Raptor strike

Arcane surge 1 shots basically every class and they have no counter to it.

is it your opinion that anyone who gets in melee range of a hunter deserves to get immediately killed? yes or no

You should be in a group with other people who assist you if you are expecting to compete in STV. smh.

Sounds like a skill issue there lad. Try wearing plate armor with some stamina on it, and use your abilities properly.

Itā€™s my opinion that warriors should have a debuff that makes every non-warrior one shot them with any ability.

Just FYI, Iā€™m wearing most of my BiS top 3 right now and am not really competing on the meters. It isnā€™t going to get a lot better for warriors in P2. Iā€™m not complaining because I get that warriors traditionally suck to level and are gods at end game. Iā€™ve played vanilla warrior for a long time. This is just the flow. But, there shouldnā€™t be a significant warrior power spike in this phase.

Melee hunter wont have trap launcher.

Requires bm and pet so lone wolf is out, so thats not taking the 30% more damage which is part of that burst

Sneeze on the hunter in cheetah, and he is dazed. If you are letting a hunter run at you in cheetah you are terrible at the game.

12 second cd. 4 second duration. Everyone else has something better.

And lastly. None of these are mobility outside of cheetah (which is easily countered) ā€¦

Youn expect less? The class is way too powerful right now. its so funny ho people how blind spots for their preferred class.

Based on current ohase bis. It was about 8% nerf to raptor strike output. So about 5% nerf to hunters total dps.

Doesnt place that trapbl 35y away though.

So doesnt really help melee hunter get to or stay on a target that is running.

i.e. miniscule. not enough.

One of these is not like the others.

Once is melee range and can be disarmed, blocked, parried, or dodged.

The others are 30+y range and dont care about any of that stuff.

5% overall nerf puts it just ahead of other melee, who scale better, and will pass it by the end of phase.

lol. I just canā€™t take anyone seriously who thinks melee hunters arenā€™t insanely overpowered. I donā€™t think we can have a fruitful discussion about it, in any case. we will agree to disagree.

You dont understand the hunter class and how it works.

P1 hunters were crying about how the nerfs we kept getting would kill the class when its scaling issue came into play. Now look at ranged hunter.

Its barely above frost mages and is competing for last place. thats mm/bm/ or sv played as ranged. Melee hunter will not scale as well as other melee. Wait a few weeks and you will see it fall even farther.

Spells can be resisted and cant be casted during a silence or counterspell.

Its the same thing. Defending wildly op abilities because its the class you play.

  • Balance druid, starfire, wrath, starsurge
  • Feral druid, shred, rip and mangle
  • Fire mage, fireball, scorch, living bomb
  • Arcane mage, arcane blast, arcane missles, living flame
  • Paladin, exorcism, seal, crusader strike
  • Hunter, raptor strike, flanking strike, pet management or carve
  • Priest, mind blast, mind spike, shadow word pain
  • Rogue, mutilate, envenom
  • Elemental shaman, lightning bolt, lava burst, flame shock
  • Enhancement shaman, lava lash, storm strike, chain lightning
  • Warlock, immolate, incinerate
  • Warrior, slam, whirlwind, overpower

This false narrative that any particular class requires more skill than another is an absolute joke. Itā€™s classic WoW. Warrior is just as simple as mage, which is just as simple as priest, which is just as simple as rogue, which is just as simple as hunterā€¦ etc.
