Actually that is not true. There has been several articles out there about how Remix keystones are getting more play than regular ones.
The absolute audacity of giving 5 million gamers the opportunity to do something different at the end of an expansion. The monsters.
It wasnât the end of the expansion. Manaforge had not even been out for 8 weeks.
Without remix there would be no option for people to do something else right now?
Remix is glorified legacy content. I can go faceroll Legion on retail if I want for roughly the same experience.
I mean, technically, that was the final raid. But at the rate, everybody seems to consume content. Everybody was done in a matter of days. So now they have 3 1/2 months with something else to do before midnight launches on March 9.
people have plenty of options. They can continue to run mythic on alts, they can create new characters, they can chase down achievements they were missing, they can go after mountâs pets and appearances, or they can check out the PTR. I mean, that was the whole reason for turbo mode. thereâs plenty to do, but those who were already done with. It have moved onto remix to enjoy something different for a while. The only problem you run into is remix is more popular than classic because even though people were popping over to play classic, they were still coming back to retail. Now that people are playing remix and doing +50 solo they donât really see a need to come back to retail until midnight.
I think remixâs main appeal is that itâs not retail and a lot of people donât want to voice it but they donât enjoy retail.
Which is why remix killed a season that was only a few months old. Itâs a pretty bad season with a poor raid and repeat dungeons in the M+ pool though, so thatâs not entirely surprising.
Why struggle to find groups to push keys when super fun and easy and OP LEMIX is available? I mean, it seems obvious. Folks want to have fun. Being OP is fun. Running around blowing things up is fun. Grinding isnât.
I mean, if we are brutally honest, this expansion started out with a bang and ended with a fizzle. Thereâs been far less participation, even at the beginning of season three then there was during season one. Even compared to DF season four which was through the roof. Hopefully midnight corrects some of the lack lesser moments that we experienced in this expansion and the entire 18 months is enjoyable. Iâm just glad that we have options. Used to be it was 10 to 16 months of content drought at the end of an expansion and we had to sit around and twiddle our thumbs.
A great job! I love never running out of things to do.
Vault keys arenât push keys
The vast majority of players arenât looking to max out mythic 4 pc, and do AOTC, or âpick a grindâ. They are just having fun. And most of the fun in the latest season was accomplished by the time LEMIX came out. And for the vast majority of players, not being able to get anything for the turbo boost from LFR made the decision that much easier. Why even bother for gear that wonât even be functional in the next expansion when they can just do LEMIX instead.
Which is funny because DF S4 had MoP Remix competing with it and was nothing but rehashed content from S1-S3 lol.
But Legion Remix has killed an actual non-meme season because the season is just THAT bad.
What are you talking about? I saw M+ groups filling quite easily all lastnight.
Dungeons being bad I can get, but raid is poor? ![]()
Wait until you find out the amount of keys decreases as the season goes on regardless of what content gets released
Remix is just grinding vers though
Itâs just easy grinding vs stuff you canât fail at vs push keys which are easy to fail at
might not have been the end of the season, but we are definitely at the end of the expansion.
it is end of expac though
most people have wrapped up whatever it is they were gonna do
Yeah I dislike this one the most out of the expansionâs three and I did not like LoU either, so thatâs saying a bit. Less to do with mechs and more to do with the color palette giving me a headache. So some of it is just me issues but overall I donât think itâs an interesting raid mechanically either.
