Burgers are my ‘quick lunch with friend’ option, mostly because the nearest place that serves decent food quickly is an Irish pub.
I try to have lunch out with my friend once a week. It gives him an excuse to get out, gives me an excuse to get away from my desk and we can just chat in person.
If time allows, there are a whole lot of other sit-down options in the area, from really expensive to reasonable. Doesn’t hurt I work near Korea town and like Korean food.

Never had Korean food but would love to try for sure. My fav is Tai food – I could just eat that every day!!!
Great food and if you like spicey…you’ll likely like it.
The good Korean BBQ place is incredibly expensive. I think it was like 100 a person and up. Made the mistake of eating lunch there with a friend (we sat down, didn’t want to just leave) and had the ‘cheaper’ lunch option…50 bucks a person…
But if you have the opportunity, give it a try. I’m a fan of kimchi as I love cabbage, but some of it can be quite hot for me.
Applebees and a local place called “The Beacon” just love to serve them dry.
Cheese, onions, pickles, and mustard.

I feel as if I need to add some sort of fat for the elk when it is made into a burger
Bacon, onion rings, BBQ sauce, guacamole, jalapenos, pepperjack cheese, and mustard. Not necessarily all of those at the same time, but at the very least a couple of those.
Whichever country Texas is in.
