Blizzard just doesnt care about casual content at all in both PvP and PvE. This isnt an exclusive problem to PvP, but the stance the devs take in general

So why do the rated battlegrounds have random map locations?

The logic about random just being the map doesnt hold up. Look at PvE random group finder for raid for example, the “map” is the same, your players are random.

… because the “rated” part implies that there are standings that adjust as you continue to play throughout the season?
Im not the PvP guy to ask for pure confirmation about this stuff… look at my record

Random Battleground
and the other is
Random Group
By your own asinine logic you set out:
I have to counter that, by this logic rated shouldn’t have random locations/maps. (If you didn’t catch on, I’m pointing out how your argument was a bad one).

wow, rude. but by your own admission you are a pvper who cant stand not being on the overpowered end of things so I suppose…
one thought was about why “Random Battleground” has random in the name.
the other was a totally different thought about “Why does rated have rated in the name”
I was not speaking as to why a rated contest would chooses random battlegrounds. If you couldnt see that perhaps my delivery could use some work.

Random is referring to the map and nothing else.
you can use in game voice or sharing a discord link is super easy.
you can make a text macro that says kill And have it insert your target name right after that

That I’m not sure about. But with randoms it should just be random players to avoid premade vs pug steamrolls.
Just allow join a raid option for epics, the queue system can already match groups, so matching raid shouldn’t be hard, it preserves premades and allows solo players to fill in left over raid spots. Any other solution is frankly beyond Blizzard’s capabilities/care for unrated PvP.

now that ive calmed down a bit, it was petty and pretty cringe. should not have let the person whining about alliance groups challenging thier horde superiority get to me. just i didnʻt react well to their sudden hostility.

It’s fairly rare right now unless you do it on purpose as far as I’m aware. It should be every other game or more.
If they completely disabled premades and randomized queue order (even just by 30 secs - 1 minute) so that queue sync didn’t work I doubt there would be any noticeable negative effects to the solo queues at all, contrary to what premaders keep saying about longer queues.

Random BG premades are for people who are genuinely bad at the game… I agree, they need to rid the game of premade random bgs.
