I think we can all agree we need less puffy pirate shirts. Maybe none at all . With a firm resolution to divert their resources and attention and progress to things we actually care about like fixing game breaking exploitation like the topic of Que abuse macro.
A well said analogy with the puffy pirate shirts.
Yeah F Puffy pirate shirts. We’re all in agreement ? I took their survey and just told them I don’t think a single one of us care about the rewards in the plunderstore and at this point they should instead be creating ABC and fixing XYZ . Maybe in reverse or XYZ then ABC.
I said you didn’t want to have a discussion and you argued. Now you’re saying you don’t want to have a discussion. Ok, easy enough to add you to ignore. No point trying to interact with anyone who does not want discussion, whether it is IRL or on a forum.
I’m not sure Blizzard would even need to divest that many resources to fix the issue, which makes it even more puzzling why they haven’t addressed it for so long.
I imagine the people who enjoy the whole pirate aesthetic can still get their puffy pirate shirts while we get a fix for sync queues
Yet you are part of and play with one of the guiltiest communities. If you’re going to try and pretend you’re not part of the problem, it’s best not to play with those breaking the rules.
I’m almost 100% positive blizzard employees are playing in these epic bg communities. My wife has been gaming with 3 women blizz employees since legion that she met in the achievement discord community. They play palworld, stardew, HoTS and run wow glory achievements together each tier until all of them get the mount. They also talk about books they read way to much in our discord lol…
The epic problem is so deep, it’s full-on 4-D chess to solve. Maybe introducing 25-player rated epics could help alleviate it—at least a little. Who knows? As I’ve said before on here, each premade group typically has around 5-6 absolute monsters. These are straight-up Xenomorph-Queens who carry 25 - 30 “friends” (dead weight) in their premades.
Blizzard knows that even if you fixed the que-sync issue and banned the use of all the add-on curse nonsense, these Xenomorph-Queens would just start queuing as groups of 5 all the time. They’d be in voice chat, take over lead from whoever has it among the 35 pugs they get matched with, and guide the team entirely through chat.
These players put up 2.5 billion in damage and healing each, while pugs manage 300–400 million in the same epic battlegrounds. Every single time. If one group of 5 Xenomorph-Queens is paired with 35 pugs, and the opposing team is entirely 40 pugs, the 40 pugs will lose every single time. Not 99% of the time—100%.
So, what’s the solution? Ban 5-man groups from epic battlegrounds entirely? Make it a solo queue system, fully random, like raid finder? The problem is so galactic and gargantuan that Blizzard doesn’t even attempt to address it.
The only realistic way to mitigate this would be to introduce 25-player rated epics. That might make the Xenomorph-Queen, multi-Gladiator monsters lose interest in regular epics. I get it—the problem is unbelievable. But still, 10 years should have been enough time for Blizzard to come up with some kind of solution. Cause I’m telling you… even if they fix que-sync, you’re still going to get absolutely rolled. Thats just a fact.
“I also don’t think there’s many groups of 5 that can roll pugs with a 100% win-rate, if any.”
^ This is the one thing all you guys keep saying over and over that is 100% incorrect. It’s absolutely delusional. It’s like thinking you and your friends could beat a Blizzcon team. It’s mad, delusional, beyond wrong and hilarious. You wrongly believe that its the 40 premaders that are beating you, its not… It’s the 5 - 10 monsters carrying the entire team. And when these guys start queing into 5 man legal groups because Blizz fixed que-sync, epic pug groups are still going to be rolled big time. Plus these guys know exactly how to lead 35 pugs and make on-the-fly, clutch calls… so there’s that… The problem is a lot bigger than you think… Thats why Blizz ignores it and allows reg epics to be the wild-wild West. Introducing 25 person rated would be one of the only possible solutions to help put a stop to it.
25 man epics would help with the big team fight lag. The rando solo only option seems pretty cool. Maybe a blitz style que system would be nice. I would like to add that it would spice things up a bit, if they could buff epic npcs and vehicles. Force some change of strat at least. If they dont then season 2 will be even worse.
This is at this point blatantly ignoring the forum topic and trying to take it as your own. Go make your own topic. I’ve ignored this repeatedly like over 15 of your posts and given you the benefit of the doubt each time. This is NOT a justification thread no where does it say we have a problem with queueing as intended 5 player groups.
enough of the red herring-ing , go make your own topic and see if anyone is as interested, I indulge you to, thanks, but no thanks
You’re giving way too much credit to the ‘5 monsters’ and ignoring the 35 pugs who still have to hold objectives, soak CC, and keep the game going. Those ‘monsters’ aren’t winning alone—they’re enabled by the chaos and effort of the rest of the team. The idea that a single 5-man group will have a 100% win rate is laughable. Maybe they look like ‘monsters’ with 11 healers pocketing them against undergeared, unorganized pugs, but anyone without those rose-tinted glasses can see them for what they really are: average players at best.
And you’re completely ignoring the fact that these guys can lead 35 pugs with ease and tell them exactly where to go and what to do in addition to doing 2.5 billion in dmg & heals while all 75 pugs in the entire game are doing 300 - 400 million in dmg n heals.
If basketball required 40 players on each team and one team has LeBron James in his prime, Michael Jordan in his prime, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in his prime, Magic Johnson in his prime and Kobe Bryant in his prime and all 40 players are being led by Phil Jackson in chat and the other team has 40 casual players just running around being led by no one full-yolo, they’re not going to win. To think otherwise is to be absolutely delusional. Miracles may happen once in a while, but let’s be real.
Oh stop HAHAHAHA if these people could win that easy on their own they wouldn’t bother with sync exploiting. You guys are all bottom of the barrel bads that need these “communities” to win anything at all.
@Paindevice, you’re completely wasting your time interacting with this guy. Put him on your ignore list like I did. He will say absolutely anything and has zero interest in truth or reality. He will never ever admit anything, no matter how obvious it is that he is wrong.
Did you really just compare a team of 1600-rated players at best to Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson? You and your group are the polar opposites of those people, lol. Talk about delusional.
