I did all 8 on my druid and I did get 3 pieces of loot, two of which were useless because I already had better.
I was lucky that I ran with some people who didn’t need some of the stuff and gave them to me, otherwise I’d probably be stuck with almost nothing.
Keep in mind I’m the healer, which has been an absolute nightmare this expansion so far, every single dungeon is filled with crap on the floor, damage over time and at least 3 out of 5 players getting hit by every single form of avoidable damage available, some even seem to actually do it on purpose, so it’s even more frustrating to go through all this to get almost nothing.

no theyre exaggerating, they got loot it just wasnt an upgrade, which isnt a problem with the system. it’s just excessing QQing.

Yup, some of us have not that luck of finding that kind of guild 
Run +2’s, almost the same difficulty but no lockout and the loot is even slightly better. Time the key for two pieces.
Don’t you just love getting legendary memories for every spec you can be except the one you actually play?
Boy, I sure do love getting nothing but Feral and Guardian conduits in my WQs as a Balance Druid.

I would take that a step further and say it’s probably a good idea to run with people you know and at least one person of the same armor type so you can share gear if needed.

I’ve only run necrotic wake so far for mythics and I got nothing. Is very discouraging after 1 whole dungeon and being the only person dungeon wide to not get loot
So you are saying that out of 32 bosses, where 8 of those drop 2 pieces of loot, you got 0 drops? So 24 times you had a 20% chance to get loot and 8 times you had a 40% chance to get loot and you got nothing? I call bs.
What is wrong with blizzard

Yup mega frustrating. Meanwhile a rogue from my guild got FOUR drops in a Theater run, not including the BoE Bow that also dropped for him.

My friend is on attempt ~150 for the rogue crit legendary. I’m convinced his char is bugged but he did find someone else on 200+ attempts.
He does 5 man’s of all rogues and says 2-3 of the 5 normally get it in 10 straight resets of the first boss.
Some people just have garbage rng
I’ve done seven +7 mythics and you guessed it! I got zero loot.
This is why Blizz should implement some sort of token system where you get 1 token per successful dungeon run. Then you can go to a vendor and redeem gear that is on the loot table (for like 30 tokens or something).
That way you still have to do ALOT of runs if you have bad luck, but at least you KNOW you will eventually get that item you desperately need.
With M+ only dropping 2 pieces of loot per group, the odds of you not getting a piece in any particular run is 3/5. Therefore, the odds of not getting loot once in 8 runs is (3/5)^8, or around 1.5%. Meaning if 1000 people ran 8 m+, 15 of them wouldn’t get a single piece of loot.
It’s fairly possible.
Bring back tokens.
1 token per boss kill. 20-30 tokens per piece of gear (depending on the slot). Bosses can still drop gear, but if all else fails you can buy with tokens over a long period of time.
We had this at one point and it was GREAT. Not sure why it went away.
