Raising Race/Class Combo Expansion Awareness

Yes, I agree, I really do hope they add more combinations, being a bit of a “Alt-Acholic” this is honestly what I want most during the next expansion.

That one might as well not even be a race atm lol.

I agree with the thread in CC, in the idea of class skins, and expanding them to add many more race and class combos.

I have actually on numerous occasions linked the class skins things and pushed for them.

They are creations of neltharion, they where not asleep on dragon isles.

Then that thread is a bad thread, class skins is no excuse to increase class combo’s

maybe theyll add some sidequest-lines to learn other classes’ styles later on or something similar to how you learn about allied races.

who knows.

That didnt stop non-pandaren races from immediately becoming monks…

I’m fine with the Dracthyr being the only Evokers right now, they are experimental bloodlines and not ‘true’ dragons imo (like… dragonkin). I do hope they release the Black Dragonflight as an allied race that can choose Alliance or Horde, same as Pandaren (who feel more like they were meant to be an allied race to begin with as well, but it wasn’t a system in place at the time); I would hope, as a Black Dragonflight, we could be a little more… just humanoid and just full young dragon forms… I like the horns, but the other dragonflight dragons aren’t as… ‘rainbow scalie’. I also like the idea that Dracthyr could have a ‘thicker’ model at the barber shop too, like has been mentioned for Kul Tirans as there is a skinnier model available for NPCs. I don’t think I consider them the fulfillment of the promised (or… leaked?) ‘playable dragons’ because they feel more like Blizzards version of ‘Draconic Bloodline Sorcerers’ from D&D; gifted with the powers of an ancestral blessing, but not really full dragon.

If they do release a Black Dragonflight allied race, I hope they at least stick to the original leaked idea of ‘can play all original classes from vanilla’ if not ‘can play all classes’. I can understand if they dismiss the latter for lore reasons, but it would feel appropriate that they represent the rebirth of Azeroth, being the flight they are and all that their aspect both represented and did in the end…

Do you have a source?

Everyone is telling me blizz is going “in the right direction” with this xpac announcement though
The cognitive dissonance in the shills is real.

They mentioned there is a possibility of them being more classes in the blue post, there is also an interview with ion mentioning very strongly that there will be more classes for them.
