Like, what did you think the Haranir were?
And, for that matter, how is it a “lore-breaking retcon” that the trolls started out as one Paleolithic species that diverged and evolved into many different tribes and peoples over time? It’s not like Elune snapped her moony fingers and Zandalar popped out of nothing. I seriously don’t get this criticism. The Haranir as the progenitors of modern trolls isn’t just logically plausible, it’s logistically necessary and reflective of real world anthropology and historic societal progression. This really should be a non-issue.
