The scarier part is of those 350 ish people in glad range. At least 1/3rd or more are alts of the same people. It is much worse than it seems.
All you have to look forward to is fighting rank 1s all the way up to 2400, then fight awc teams for your glad wins. No big deal 
Yeah this would be a good change imo. There’s no many rewards between each bracket but then you have glad and r1, not much incentive for the multiglad players to push more than glad unless they think they can get r1, or they don’t have the 2.7 achieve

But this is the current number of viable glads not people with glad. This is a very low number.

Gladiator is suppose to be difficult. Instead Blizzard should add better rewards to the 3v3 bracket. Maybe make the new pvp enchant only available in the 3v3 bracket and not solo shuffle. Or make the elite pvp transmog a different color.
I do think with those factors there should be about 10x the number of r1 spots that get glad, roughly. I think because of alts more than anything there should be about 1% of the player base able to get glad. If there is 160 r1 spots then yeah were way under that right now because 800 (5x r1 spots) is 2200. So were definitely deflated. But by end of season I hope to see like the 1600th person on the ladder able to get glad by the very end of season if there are 160 r1 spots.
LMAO mid tier 2-2.4k rating? 2.1k is the top 5% and 2.4 is the top 1.5%.
Id like a full body enchant that looks like im always super saiyan as an achievement, but you can only equip it in the season you got it in, like the title.

2s and 3s is probably a wrap for the season. Don’t see participation rising at all, instead there is a stady decline. Bow down to the new RSS overlords.

We have a real dissonance on this forum about this fact. It seems like a lot of people feel like the population evaporating causes rating in 3s to be "unfairly"deflated. I don’t really agree-glad is a lot harder this season than it was in at least the first 3 of sl, which is exactly what a lot of people here insisted that they wanted.

i think the community has gotten so used to being fed the mount at this point that making it harder to get would cause a bunch of people to bitterly quit
but there’s no downside to elite+50 wins giving the “gladiator” mount and making 0.5% the gladiator FoS with the gladiator title being awarded for the entire following season
gives people a reason to play past 2400 too
we’re only halfway through the season. theres plenty of time now that people will have full gear sets.

Thinking Solo Shuffle is actual skillful “gameplay” is a meme, there is no game out there that is remotely similar to 2s or 3s to let it die would be a horrible mistake.
The game isn’t meant to be a solo experience it’s an mmo, people want to play with friends unless you want to add a way to duo+ in solo shuffle which could be easily exploited.
They need to either separate rewards via shuffle vs 3s or add a QoL change to 3s.

All ranked modes deserve similar rewards just reskins would be fine.
