Raise “casual cap” from iLvl 197 to iLvl 210, or 9.0.5 is DoA

The tailoring of an entire expansion to the whims of the hardcore (who want to validate their spending twelve hours a day playing WoW) was a failed experiment.

I would hardly consider LFR or Normal raiding to be “hardcore”. The current “casual cap” (or whatever you’re calling it) is already higher than LFR. Your proposed is higher than Normal raid gear, including the last 2 bosses that give 207, and only 3 iLvls lower than the first 8 bosses in Heroic.

If you want better gear, do all of the casual content available to you including Normal raiding.

Now let’s go back to being a massively multiplayer game in the style of popular, successful expansions such as WotLK, MoP, or Legion.

Funny that you mention expansions where no casual content offered raid level gear.
