“Many years ago, when I first started posting on Forums, I lived alone, and talked to my computer and my cats while I typed. (I had about 25 cats at the time.) My friends found out and jokingly told me I should “Quote” myself, since I was already quoting myself.”
“As a joke I started putting quotation marks around my posts, and it caught on. It grew into each of us having a ‘thing’, hearts, flowers, stars, and more. We got very creative.”
