Raiding and whats wrong with it

Yeah that’s fine. But the title of this thread is about what the problem with raiding is, and it’s not a raiding issue it was just a communication issue.

I mean I can understand being annoyed, but some people are acting like they already put time into LFR and earned the mount, then Blizzard took it away.

To be honest i didnt even try to get into raiding this season it actually came to me. Guild lead randomly msged me i joined as a dps and now im one of their raid tanks. Things just kinda worked out.

Exactly. I’m not crying about the normal mode achievement mounts that’s been around for years. I knew from the start what they were.

Who, OP?

Sorry, sometimes I can’t see who people are replying to.

Either way the trend I’ve shown proves that raiding is not as popular of an end-game activity as you seem to suggest, and you haven’t really made any strive to counter the data I’ve shared in replies to your query… So I just assume you didn’t actually want that information and your opinion will not waiver regardless.

Anyway, it’s a moot point. The devs likely have that information as well, the knowledge that Normal+ raids are only popular with a quarter to about a third of the population. If that’s who they wish to invest the most in at the expense of other players, it’s their game to do so with.

I’d love to have more reasons to play WoW, personally, that don’t involve overcoming group challenges. Here’s hoping the professions in Dragonflight aren’t as disappointing as every other bit of casual content they’ve made since they’ve ruined the leveling experience, which was our main feature.

This is the secret sauce right here. I’m a brand new Shadowlands baby. I saw RWF in Twitch and thought ‘man this looks cool I want to do that’.

I bought SLands and joined a pretty casual AOTC mom/pop type guild and (after a ton of learning, pugging, ‘getting good’) from there joined a low end mythic guild and got CE for SOD.

Then it turned out that now I’m friends with my low end CE guild and have found my sweet spot where I can raid 6 hours a week and push keys with friends or pugs and just generally had a blast with the game so far. Tbh I probably have good enough logs to apply to a world 500ish guild, but I’m socially invested now.

It’s super possible and not that hard to get into raiding and M+ with 0 prior knowledge if you’re motivated to do so.

I disagree, i’ve noticed and come across several of your comments on several topics insulting people, you insulted me multiple times first on different topics just like this one and expect people to kiss up to you. So please get over yourself.
