out of curiosity, why are you guys requiring people to tf to stormrage with tww cross-server changes?
I have my DH mainly havoc and a druid that is good with any role that would like to join. I sent a friend request to the raid leader.
TLDR: We feel like it adds an incentive to not bail as soon as people get gear. (i.e., it “adds skin to the game”)
If you want a more detailed explanation,
In season 3 we had a significant number of individuals who we invested time into, and who we helped get AOTC/KSH, immediately leave to go play with a friend’s guild/prior guild, or transfer off realm altogether. These people might have gotten those accolades on their own, but they would’ve done so at a much slower rate had they not had our guild leadership and members organize runs and assist them.
While I may not agree with their methods of leaving, and while some of that just comes from running a guild, we feel like being on the server shows a level of dedication and sincerity to the group, that doesn’t exist from being on another realm. You, and anyone else, are free to disagree (that’s your prerogative), but until you’ve actively tried to recruit and run a guild that’s not simply a raid logging guild or have attempted to make a community that actively engages with one another and accomplishes thing at a relatively fast pace, you’ll never really understand the headache of having to search multiple forums/websites/discords, etc. to find those specific types of people whose ideas mesh with yours. In addition to all of that, we had people who had transferred prior to the cross-realm knowledge do so without any complaints. It all comes down to the team atmosphere which is what we promote most.
To follow that last sentence, either you want to be a part of what we’re building and don’t have an issue with our rules, or you don’t and only care about getting AOTC/KSH. (That’s fine too btw, but it won’t be with us.)

(P.S., we aren’t making people transfer immediately in Season 4, to provide an ample amount of time to determine whether or not we’re people you’d like to continue playing with, and we don’t require server transfers for people only interested in doing M+. The transfer requirement is ONLY for raiding, and it ONLY applies to TWW.)
