"Raid Ready Boost" = Selling Gear in the Bliz Store

Blizzard can never get a break. Too low they complain. Too high they complain. Le sigh.

raid definition

conduct a raid on

LFR is raiding

i have it ready to go and all through emerald dream gear ready to be catalyst

lmfao

and normal will be unlocked with crests

Oh yeah you gotta get a set ready to be catalysted once the season is over.

They’re not actually doing anything different than how boosts have been done before. The problem is in how this is being advertised.

who cares about the season i care about the transmogs and emerald dream has been pretty generous. once .5 comes out itll be weekly charges

I know but after season it will be infinite charges, as long as they follow past trends anyway.

It’s just a selling tactic. To get you gear that allows you to jump into LFR and whatever.

also .5 might have the events that have normal tokens that can be used to get heroic pieces. or maybe thats .7

BUT the heroic recolors are all garbage LMAO

Blizzard is scum, but they’re masterful at riding the line of forcefeeding WoW Players just enough crap that they don’t vomit it back up.

ilvl 424 isn’t going to generate enough outrage and enough idiots will probably buy it to make this more profitable than designing Starcraft 3 would be.

Meh normal to heroic is easy. Just need to upgrade to 5/8 on the champion track. Though it might be difficult after season to get those pieces since you won’t have m+ anymore to rely on. Whereas you can always farm the dream world content for easy LFR.

Yes it’s 424 but the gear you can farm and level in the open world goes to 437/450 so I don’t think it’s really going to generate all that outrage.

If you think that’s different individual players, you might be interested in this ocean front property I have for sale on Mercury.

did you forget about “season 4”

the stuff will be still obtainable since its the same gear essentially just ilvl boosted

and they had season of m+ with its own mount and score in SL s4

I don’t think anyone implied that they were all different players, so how many of those are unique accounts?

Raiding, m+ least popular?

The only thing ever that I hear people talk about, in game and out… is about raiding and dungeons. No one jumps in and goes ‘‘can’t wait to do world quests’’ . Sure there are a few but definitely not surpassing the raiding, dungeon end game crowd.

I just think its hilarious that they call 424 raid ready.

Join a raid queue with 424 ilvl. Lemme know what happens.

424 is world quest gear at this point, who cares?

Obviously alts are included, I didn’t state otherwise.

That’s still at a minimum nearly 1 million people unless you’re assuming it’s really just 100 people with 3872839993 alts.

What metric do you have regarding how large the casual player base is again?

A fun experiment is having the raider.io add on installed so you can see score and raid progression on mouseover then try and see how many level capped characters you find with no score and no raid progression. It’s really hard to find them.

You can get higher than 424 in like 10 minutes from world quests. I don’t have a problem with the boost gear. Boosts have always had gear. This just allows new people who boost to jump right into the emerald dream instead of having to do other stuff first if they wish. I’m ok with that.

The only issue I have is how this is being advertised.
