A lot of people don’t post on their mains here because there are some crazy people on these forums or they just haven’t changed the character they post on in a long time. The only reason that this is my character is because it force changed from my alliance warrior when I moved it to second account.
So your io on your main is the same as my bm hunter that pushed score for a week. You’re on a balance druid… with mythic raid gear, and you played with a static group every single key. I would be ashamed of myself to say such things to someone like me. I’m solo. I play a bm hunter and a frost mage in pugs. I have zero raid gear. I took me months to get to even 220. I’m not even 220 on all my characters to this day.
I really expected more.

When did I say I was exceptional at keys? I compared you to exceptional players when you claimed to be exceptional.

What part of a lot of people don’t enjoy M+ and only do it to get the ksm mount/gear upgrade don’t you understand? The only time I did a decent amount of M+ was in S4 of bfa and that was because TD was hilarious.

I’m honestly done here. I made this post out of frustration because I love mythic+, and I’m absolutely sick and tired of raiders having things that are unattainable for anyone else.
Raiders claim it’s a difficulty thing, but they just doesn’t register with me because I apparently have a very different experience with organized raiding from quite a great many of you. This much is apparent.
I used to bust my butt in keys. I know every intricate detail about all of the mobs, etc. I am quite passionate about it. And regardless of what that gentleman or anyone has to say, I am an exceptional player. I rarely make mistakes, I fully make use of all of my abilities and utilities, and rarely am not top dps regardless of who I play with.
Without exception, each time I look at someone with a better score, so often they have gear that simply isn’t available to me, and I know if the script was flipped, there would be outcry from the playerbase.
I am done with this conversation.

Your experience in raiding appears to be doing 7 heroic bosses no offense but that’s like someone who has done +7s coming in and lecturing you about how easy +20s are. The reason you are top damage is likely because you are playing with bad players you have even admitted you don’t play with a set group and take pride in playing off meta. Good players would be showing you why off meta is off meta. If you want to see something look up Dorki playing on his new protadin clearing 8s at 150 ilvl which half the playerbase struggles with at 200 ilvl. There is a much bigger difference than just gear and until you accept that you won’t improve.

I routinely play with players that have more raid progression than the guy in question. are they bad? Which is it? I thought raid was hard?
I have killed plenty of mythic bosses. I legit did not raid this tier. Look at my kill count. I am not basing anything I have to say about raid on just this one tier. It’s a cumulative opinion.
I’m not referring to bleeding edge raiders. That is an entirely different animal. The people that go into mythic raid and clear it at like 210 are psychopaths.
According to your feats you don’t have a single CE and one AoTC. Your highest mythic kill that I see is Maut which you killed after I killed Nzoth so not exactly pre nerfs.

I had an argument with a blood dk the other day who claimed he was super good cuz it took him x amount of time to get ksm. When the entire groups he did it with were 220+. And he accused ME of being carried cuz I did some keys with 200ish ilevel friends. This thread is giving me serious flash backs. Playing off meta with no friends doesn’t mean anything. It’d be like if I decided to punch myself in the face before every key. I could do that, but why?

This is why myself and a good number of others are crusading for player housing OP. It’s because of the Raid Or Die mentality is really going to destroy WoW; if there isn’t any evergreen content, it’ll slowly hemorrhage casual players and lower their numbers more so than now.
We casual roleplayers are paying customers too, and we will fight tooth and nail for QoL or anything that keeps us coming back.
Heck, a majority of the reason I even raid IS for potential transmog, mounts, and even pets.
If they add housing, even if I have to PVP to get some exclusive and cool looking furniture, I will do it.

i don’t give a crap about housing and wouldn’t do it, but it’s been such a long request i wish they’d just add it for yall already. i don’t do archaeology either but i hope it gets fixed/brought back for the people who enjoy that as well.

You think targeted upgrades where you can choose the piece you want to upgrade aren’t special treatment? Do you have any idea how much I would have loved the ability to farm the stupid phoenix trinket and upgrade it?
The entire reason there aren’t things to do is because of pushing a bazillion different difficulties. If half of the raid was heroic level scaling up to mythic level players would either get good enough to do it or slowly get gear that would nerf it so they could do it or a combination of the two. Now due to “story modes” players kill the final boss once on lfr or normal and then consider content to be done. The complaints about there being no content really didn’t become a thing until the advent of multiple raid difficulties. Blizzard has made this problem for themselves.
they can farm x piece from a 0, or spam +2s and then drop all their valor to get it to 220. you also get the currency from doing WQ. mythic+ people really have no concept of what “special treatment” is or they’d realize that that’s what mythic+ has been since inception. lol
