Raid Loot To Personal Loot

When if ever… Is Blizz ever going to change raid looting to just personal loot??

Nothing is more frustrating then spending hours learning/clearing etc. in a raid… to simply get ZERO items from a full clear… Due to RNG

It never feels good to lose rolls. Ever. And it never will feel good.

Seeing other players get 1 - 3 items PER boss sometimes just simply because of RNG when you walk away with nothing has felt bad for 19 years…

Why cant raid bosses simply just drop personal loot… and ya that doesnt mean Every player… every boss gets loot… But having a 15% or less chance to even drop a item you can use… then a 1/5 chance after that to not get outrolled is just trash…

Why cant it be like a Mythic plus… where U click the boss. and MAYBE you get loot… maybe you dont… the roll system is such garbage.

We raid to get rewarded for our hard work… seeing someone walk out of a full raid clear with 5+ items and you got zero is terrible.

I did a raid fight for the first time in about 3 years yesterday - healed on my Monk for the first 2 bosses of the new LFR.

I have no real input on the fights themselves, they mostly seemed to go ok although the second fight was a tight finish (me the only healer alive, along with one tank and about 4 dps). The thing that really caught my eye was the loot.

There are 20 people in a raid. Thats a whole bunch of people wanting something and potentially asking for something. Each boss provided around 6 items I think (I forgot to count). Out of those only a small selection was useable for me, mostly things like rings, trinks and one item of gear, a boots. I only Needed on those items that were useful for me, and I got nothing.

I get that its always been the way of raids, that you aren’t guaranteed to get anything but with the steep incline for higher level gear being available by other means, the scarcity of items from raids seems a bit of a put off. Sure, if I do another run I’ll complete all the available bosses and get one pick from the Vault but still, I have no guarantee that’ll be much use either.

I’m not sure what the answer is but it does seem like the imbalance of gear availability at the lower to middle end of the scale is becoming more of an issue.

with personal loot you still had a hidden roll to see if you get anything for the class and on top of that another roll to see if you get the said item

I do not get why people think personal loot didn’t come with any sort of roll.

20 people in the raid didn’t mean 20 pieces of loot so you’d think it’s be self-evident that some sort of back end roll was taking place.

Never. It was changed to GL due to stacking.

Same feeling as when I got absolutely nothing from LFR with PL.

Right?

The game rolled to see who got loot. Which was only a couple few. Then it rolled to see what loot.

And I remember that if I ever got anything (which was rare), it was always some crap ring or neck with terrible stats but higher ilevel that I could never trade, all while people rage whispered me their entitlement over it.

what is funny if someone had time and dig through people post that hated this new loot system and wanted pl
would find the anti pl threads they made
