Classic pvp is even more trash than classic pve. The main difference now is that they will catch account sharing. So the top ranks won’t be held by players that play 24/7
You’re quoting the one of the most famous, but extremely outdated private servers…Seriously research Kronos or Light’s Hope.
oh wow, the code for deep breath was wrong?? no one in good guilds worry about deep breaths. they’re dodgeable by anyone with a brain
They are just quoting old stuff from Nost. Also just because you don’t know the exact way something was done doesn’t mean you cannot replicated it using other methods.
Especially when it comes to coding it’s just logic, but your logic can do in entirely different directions, but still get the same answer at the end.
You underestimate those who have no-life and the power of European welfare. That said, most players stop playing after hitting rank 14. Plus, in a premade, there wouldn’t be a reason to maintain it, as you’d have to pass the top bracket to other members looking to move up from rank 13.
Clearly either you didn’t play vanilla pvp or you were not on a populated server.
Here is what happened on big servers. Large guilds or groups of PVP players would hold the ranks of generally 12-14 especially 14 considering only one person per server would get it each week.
These groups did this because of many reason because they wanted to hold the rank to keep it away from players.
But mainly it was about money, and denying access to people they didn’t want to have it.
Considering 3-5 people could constantly play a character all week and make tons of profit off of it in a game they loved why wouldn’t they? Because of some random moral obligation?
This is also why almost no one has ranked 12-14, and if they do it was likely gotten by cheating via account sharing or botting.
When someone deemed worthy (money or group reputation) to get the rank the main account being account shared would lower their weekly HK’s to allow them access to it.
Blizzard had little control options for preventing account sharing besides people that actually played 24/7 as long as they took 2-4 hour breaks blizzard rarely did anything.
Out of everything you said, the last paragraph hurt my brain the most. Do you seriously think people haven’t thought about this? There’s already tons and tons of bis lists and theory crafting that has been made specifically for classic, based off of the information blizzard has revealed to us (ex. 1.12 itemization). Good meme.
If a guild downs Rag in first week, that is their last boss kill
You are assuming something here. That is group of hunters can take down Ragnaros. Or did I miss something??
