Disc is not a requirement for us, we have deaf players. Being in disc will let you hear my strat calls. I don’t type a whole lot in bgs anymore. 50% of DJL are women. We don’t allow ppl to be creepy (that includes women) and hit on folks and I police the heck out of that. 'Tis frowned upon and fits in with our no jerks policy.
I think we should look into why people play in premades. The design of epic BGs and the balance of the game is a lottery of the first team fight. There is no reason to continue playing if you lost in the beginning 95% of the time. So many people want to avoid getting into that situation in the first place.
My favourite was an AV I solo queued a couple of days ago. Our side had a good amount of healers and I remember Enfers even said in chat that there was no way we would lose. But we still lost, because half the raid decided to go to BT. It was 15 minutes of wasted time without any sort of feeling that comeback was ever possible. And it wasn’t even against a premade.
If they updated the reward structure, or game design so that there was a reason to stay and fight, maybe people would seek premades less (because they have their downsides, for example, scheduling), or would enjoy playing versus a premade as a challenge.
You sound like someone who spends a lot of time in a cold, dark basement and just never sees sunlight.
People premade because they don’t want to deal with the window lickers that tend to populate BGs. That’s why premades exist in every version of WoW.

Some of us come from realm clusters where only only like 4 people pvp, LOL.

Fair enough, but for the casual or solo epic bg players, casual raids forming in trade chat would put more co-ordination into the games. As it stands, that’s usually only coming from the premade communities who the pugs may or may not listen to.
Sure most of us just want more fun, tactical games as opposed to two minute zergs or premade rofl stomps which are a bland use of the mode.
