I agree it doesn’t nullify it. Back to the elves for example, i don’t think the void elves calling themselves ren’dorei are nullifing the specific struggles that they had with Arthas. A name change doesn’t mean forgetting the past, just adding to it.
Absolutely, and if life no longer forsaken us, what might a new name be for us?

I wish I was kidding, but there was a Blue Post back on the older forums that a Blood DK could use their abilities to keep themselves ‘fresh’ and ‘closely mimic’ the abilities of the Living.
You’d never be able to reproduce or be actually ‘alive’, but a Death Knight of the Blood School would be able to feel warm to the touch, mimic living functions such as a heartbeat, a blush, tasting food etc, but it would be window-dressing at best, and when you consider the sheer amount of carnage they’d have to cause, and the amount of people they’d have to kill to keep up the charade for longer than a few days …

Okay see that’s fine. That’s on brand for Warcraft.
“Wao… you look so lively lately… what’s your secret?”
“I just bathe in the blood of my enemies.”
“O-oh. How many?”
“Lots- also this cheesecake is really good… totally worth it.”
