It’s been a while since we posted an invite link to the Quilen & Cloud Teahouse ingame bnet (dual-faction) community. Mostly used for event reminders & special notices - like times when i’m on a bit early, when we close for the evening, etc.

Thank you to the regulars who attended last night. It’s great to see people both weaving their personal story arcs into the life of the teahouse & welcoming newer guests into the flow of activity.
We’re currently developing some activities for the last teahouse of the year (celebrating Winter Veil with custom mogs) and the first of 2022 ( a potluck with stone soup as the centerpiece).

I think we all had a great time.
One of the things that was talked about IC is the special teahouses we have planned for the last Sunday of the year (come in your character’s version of a Winter Veil party mog) and the first Sunday next year (a “stone soup” potluck, which means if your character is the type who would show up with just a bag of chips, bring something to put in the big soup pot: an onion, a potato, some of their favorite spice, whatever.)

This coming Sunday is the last teahouse of the year. We’re doing a couple of fun IC things to celebrate.

Please come in your best Winter Veil mog. Might even be something extra in the bento for the creative.

A “white elekk” game. for those unfamiliar with a white elephant gift irl: you wrap up something - maybe that unwanted gift that keeps getting passed around, maybe something cute or practical but inexpensive, or something that in Pandaria would be considered a “lucky-do”. Then at the gathering people get a gift from the pile.

In this case come with an IC description of the wrapped package to say in ic chat. For example " a lumpy package about the size of a mailbox that makes an odd gurgling sound if you shake it". And have an IC description ready (that you keep secret until all the gifts are unwrapped). We’ll play a game that involves an rng elements and hopefully a lot of laughter - rules to be announced on the evening.

Teahouse tomorrow night: “Stone Soup party” Bring one ingredient to add to the big pot - a vegetable, a little bit of meat, noodles, a handful of rice, or whatever else. We’ll provide the seasoning.
Something to look forward to in February - Q & C Teahouse has been invited to be the official food stall for this event, and to host the Dumpling Eating Contest.

Many people may be going to the Anniversary event. We open the doors before it starts - at 4 PM (our normal time). So feel free to drop by for a quick cuppa or some dumplings. And might even open earlier, depending on the irl getting-settled-in process.

I cannot wait to visit this tea house. Elinore and a group of her friends are in Pandaria for a few weeks and we hope to come have some fun and try out the delicious teas/snacks you have to offer!
