Blood Elves are free to have any kind of eye tint color they want, they don’t have to “deal” with Alliance.

Blood Elves are to High Elves as Void Elves are to High Elves.
The lore states that Void Elves are a faction of Elves. Not a race of Elves. Blood Elves are just High Elves as well. Not the name of the race.
Void Elves exist for the model.
We have no proof of why Blizzard really did it. It could JUST be because they wanted Nightborne to be the Night Elf model on the horde and Velfs to be the Belf model on the Alliance.
We can’t be sure or pretend we know for sure. Only speculation.

The founding group were Blood elves.
They only implied High elves converted into Void.
Blood Elves are just a faction of High Elves. So they renounced the Blood Elf faction and renamed themselves as Void Elves, their new faction.
They’re still High Elves according to the lore.

High elves never conformed to Kael’s politics and they stayed allied with the Alliance after Arthas’s attack.

These were Quel’dorei who are not apart of the new Blood Elf nation.
High Elves, Blood Elves, and Void Elves are all the same race. Blood Elves and Void Elves are just factions of High Elves.
The High Elves loyal to the Alliance are just bland High Elves. Not a faction. Not a different race.

At long least, this forum war is over. I know, the feelings are difficult, but pls guys, this is a game, nothing more.
If you leave WOW, then fine, i wish you all good on this world and good healthy in time of a pandemia, but end this now, end this behavior against each other.
I understand the feelings, i understand them, i like the high elves since wc3, i like their story, but pls guys, put an end to all this and let it go.
It make no sense after all this time, i know, many hordeplayer are disgusting in this terme, and their behavior is a real shame, but its make no reason to make it even worse.
Maybe some day the alliance will get something that the alliance really want and the horde too, and then is your day to cheer. With a men like Ion as leader of the WOW Team are many things impossible, atleast high elves.
And i agree, sometimes i have a feeling that with this man as leader, the developer team have atleast a little bit horde favior feelings, but its only me feeling, and not the feelings of everyone and everywhere.

Because It’s a horde race. Horde race and alliance races have always been distinctly different (pandaren aside) blizzard has always stated they wanted horde and alliance races to be unique and identifiable even under armor.
And then what? Horde get humans? Draenei? Then people start complaining and saying there should only be one faction and destroy what’s left of the game? If people want all this stuff, they need to go find a new game, in my opinion.
