Queuing for Specific Battleground

Does this still work? I need to do Alterac Valley to finish my Chef title and the Dinner Impossible achievement. I have been in the queue every day for a week for two hours at a time and it hasn’t popped even once. This includes during the day on Saturday and Sunday. I have tried mornings, evenings, and afternoons. I can’t get it to pop.

EDIT Yesterday I was in the queue for more than two hours. Today I have been in the queue for more than 3 hours.

Edit 2: After 4 hours and 26 minutes in queue, I give up.

Idk if you’ve already done it, but apparently Korrak’s Revenge was patched to give credit for Dinner Impossible. Much quicker que than the hours I’ve been waiting.

This worked for me. Thank you. I was finally able to complete the achievement. But I would still like to see a fix for the issue I am facing. If it wasn’t for a special event like Korrak’s Revenge I would still be in queue.
