So, assuming we got queues, how should people be sorted into them?
The old reliable, but frustrating, 1st come-1st serve system we all know so well?
Oldest creation date characters ahead of newer ones?
Most played time ahead of least played time?
Influencer accounts, followed by regular folks?
Oldest WoW accounts in good standing?
Queue Points System - the longer you are in queue, you accrue “Q-points”, which you can spend to bump your way up in line.
I’m sure it’ll be #1, with conspiracies about #4, but does anyone think the individual player who’s been around the block a few times should get dibs? Or do we need some other prioritization.
“How do we get new players interested in an older version of our game?”
“Let’s make it so that veteran accounts get priority in the queues so the new players would have to wait longer.”
“That’s genius, Bob. Let’s go have lunch and get you that promotion.”
You pick and choose when you use your Q-points. They are banked into a Q-wallet of sorts.
EXAMPLE A: If it’s your guild’s raid night and you’re running late for some reason, you can spend your Q-points to skip the queue and get right in. This way you don’t get stuck on the B-Team, which keeps wiping on the two Core Giants at the MC entrance.
Thats…thats not how any of this works lol. So everyone holds onto their little points until tuesday so everyone gets in, in the first minute? Whats the point of having a q then LOL.
I think you’re overthinking a very obvious answer to the problem here.
I think blizzard should sell a premium subscription for an additional 15 a month to jump to the front of the line. You know… like the cedar point fast pass.
