Question about swapping covenants

Lok-tar friends.

Silly question but if I am wearing the covenant armor and switch covenants do I lose the ability to wear it? I had been doing Eng first and then decided I liked Ele better so I swapped from Venthyr to Necrolord. Since I’ve been trying Enh again I’m considering going back to Venthyr because chain harvest seems better for Ele than Primordial Wave is for Enh (and I already forget about Primordial Wave frequently… :sweat_smile:)

Probably not gonna switch just yet in case they buff something but it’s in my mind. But since like a few pieces of gear are upgraded Necrolord covenant set if I’ll lose the ability to wear them it’s not worth doing.

I am pretty sure you can wear the pieces, you only lose the ability to transmog the sets once you leave. If you were Venthyr at one point and got any of the pieces of armor you could test it out.

You cant xmog the old covenant gear tho. Unless they have patched that recently.
