Because Blizzard is lazy these days. Look at Stormwind, it was on fire for 7 years.
False concept, felwood is still a Demon Stronghold, as they have a Fortress under a mountain there. Also Blizzard is inconsistent with lore and zones, from the RTS to WOW.

While I’d first want my Night Elf Worgen. I wouldn’t mind granting the Nelves Druid of the flames.
It’d be like a slap in the face for Sylvanas, lol.

Except they’re not. I’m not even sure where you’re getting this from. Anyone can become corrupted. It’s not one race or another.

It wasn’t “a little amount of time.” N’zoth used the back door into the Dream to slowly corrupt it for ages. It wasn’t a sudden thing. And it was subtle for quite some time, unable to really be traced or understood.
By the time Malfurion was rescued, the Nightmare had spread too far. None of us even realized that it’s why Fandral was such a jerk for so long. It took from the time of the world trees planted to stop saronite up until Cata for that revelation. And even then, Mal thought he had stopped Xavius.
Shaladrassil’s corruption was slow and no one could really stop it. Not even Ysera could stop the Nightmare. And she was an aspect. Since Vanilla, she wasn’t able to stop her own flight from becoming corrupted. The Nightmare was nothing to screw with. There’s no way to cleanse it. Once corrupted, the only way out is death.

you sure it’s corruption and not their trash? night elves live in forests, im positive they don’t have trash cans, so they probably throw all their candy wrappers and plastic on the ground. it’s no wonder the place is green and corrupted

The Scourge were the main ones that corrupted the “Human” lands, not the Legion.
Lordaeron, Western Plaguelands and Eastern Plaguelands want a word with you.
Oh and remember what the Worgen king Genn did? Locking out people to the Scourge?

Have you played Warcraft3? Fire was raining down the sky with hordes of infernals, doomguards, and felstalkers bringing ruination to the land. Maybe the undead cleaned up their corruption with blight. Man even the undead are better at clearing fel corruption then the night elves.
To be fair, when you go back into Warcraft history, a lot of major catastrophes have to do with the overarching theme of “Night Elves Screwed Up.”

Exactly! The night elves cannot be trusted as all they do is perpetuate problems. I could have been a normal human deathknight but noooo, night elves just had to make the forbidden wolf form and put it in such an easily accessible place that a random human mage could summon the curse and here we are now.
And after we took you in. For shame.
You do realize if it wasn’t for the NE’s you would be spending your days chewing on old boots and barking at the moon.
