Question about locked chests in dungeons

Other profs roll for node or do a 1-1 the way i was taught to do it. and loot loot inside chest wasnt exactly vendor trash it was leather boots(feet of lynx) once going for 50g+ which most of you have failed to even respond about. It still just falls to the rogue? i may have to start doing more dungeons runs with that mentality

This is where the greed takes over. Why don’t we apply this to herb/ore/leather?

Nobody cares that’s why.
Because those items really aren’t worth squat.

…but a chest, there could be a blue, or even an epic in there…

Now all of a sudden an individuals efforts of tediously leveling a skill are a “resource of the group”…For the sole reason that it could be more valuable.

Right. So not a happy, smooth, no complaints run. Here you are asking about it. My point exactly.
Tell me this – are you likely to hook up with that rogue again? Or will you remember him as a dude that acted outside the group in his own interests?
Reputations are a thing. Ppl remember stuff like this.

Ill blow it up with c4.

Dont need a rogue to open it.

Edit: But at that point the loot is mine because it actually costed me to open it.

People really want to make something that is black and white to gray.

No we don’t. You are coping.

You can’t prove we have lock picking by inspecting our characters.

Then we come back and loot it later.

:person_shrugging:

You don’t have any control unless it’s your group and then good luck filling a partial dungeon run where bosses may be dead.

Seems kind of petty for a chest.

Same. No different than :skull: :x: :crescent_moon:
It’s interesting to me how the player base changes.

These kids are going to change the world (of Warcraft) Soy latte in one hand, scrolling Tik-Tok in the other.

If you bring a rogue to a dungeon, you’re already basically 4 manning it. Nobody is going to care that you’re gone if you can’t provide even basic class utility. On anything besides single target, you’re maybe 1/3 of the others’ DPS.

“Good luck finding more!” isn’t the threat you think it is.

Opening chests is the least you can do to say “thank you” to the group for hard carrying you.

Queue the endless number of forum posts QQing about Rogue having too high of DPS along with warriors

Yeah because you know what runes rogues are getting next phase.

You work for Blizzard.

What if rogues get fan of knives? Then we’d be the best AOE class like we were in Wrath.

Also rogues have 2nd highest single target. Rogues will be brought just for their DPS alone.

Most groups are not sweaty tryhard groups. I never had any issues getting into dungeon groups in P1 on my rouge.

You are coping big time.

I doubt you even make your own groups and just complain in other people’s groups.

A phrase usually used as an argument shut-down by people lacking rhetorical skills when they realize they are on the loosing end of an argument. Usually used in conjunction with “cope” and “mald.”

This is what rogues do? Its there RP element

Never been in a dungeon/raid where ppl are RPing. It’s always just blast through it, RP on your own time.
Ppl do this? News to me.

then keep on blasting through and let the rogue have the locked loot, you wont even notice.
Not to mention your are playing an MMO rpg- role play is part of it the moment you log on-hence why you are a night elf druid.

I am the rogue.

I don’t play that way. Never have. I roll stats (racials, bonuses) I like, and that’s pretty much it. I don’t RP. Never have. I’m on an RP server due to friends here.

Might want to check the dps meter before you say that

I am not talking about RPing in game.
I am talking about the simple fact that you are playing world of warcraft- that is the RP element whether you choose it or not.
