I’ve been trying it for the past week every other day or so. Still unable to kill the boss in that area can only get him down to 95% hp before he wrecks me. Fix this please!
I thought it was just me doing something wrong! Hoping that there is a fix for it soon, I was really looking forward to unlocking the taurens!

Same issue. Maybe fixed in this week’s maintenance?
I wanna pop in with an update and say that I tried this quest again and it’s much easier once you’re past level 60. At level 65 it was a breeze. I have the race now. To me it seems the only solution ATM is to over-level.
Same thing here. Level 53 and impossible. Took hour or so to get mobs, can’t get boss even with others.

My Belf mage (lvl 44) is stuck on this same quest for the same reasons.
Is it safe to go on and try to unlock the other races with this quest incomplete in my log?
I’ve unlocked all of the Alliance races and the Vulpera so far, and just got hung up on this one.
Yes, I just unlocked Zanadalari after having this issue.

The break point for this seems to be 64. This morning at 63 was impossible still, 64 it was a cake walk.

Ok so some people are gonna be very angry, I WAS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM till for some reason I got kicked out of the tauren guy into my own character but all the enemies where still there, and I killed the shadow speaker as my evoker and still was able to proceed
Any idea how you got that to happen?
Still having this issue at lvl 51, very annoying. Please fix this blizzard.
There are three of us right now trying to get the boss down and the mobs he summons one-shot us. Can’t keep him interrupted.

Was having same issue with this quest but got my character to lvl 65 and the quest was easily completed.
i can’t kill this mf either. it’s frustrating.
im having the same issue, ive been having it all month so far its extremely irritating

22 days and they still haven;t addressed this? Hoping this is the last fight, I know its item level dependent, but seriously don;t allow us to grab the quest at level 40 unless you have it so we can complete it at level 40.

Exactly. I can’t progress past 60 because I don’t have Dragonflight so people are like “Go past 60, it’s easier.”
I can’t so now i’m just hoping blizzard fixes it. We pay all this fckin money, the least they can do is get their sht straight.
