Has to be bugged. I’ve spent hours on end searching for this ring fragment and no dice. On a side note the first Quartered Ancient Ring I found was off someone else’s Mad Maw Npc. I got my second out of the Maw Chest. But I cannot find the one on the ground. I have also opened up 30+ wall chests and no quest yet.

WELL THANK YOU BLIZZARD! Of course I have the item I said I’m looking for… you made 4 items with the SAME EXACT NAME. (and no the 2 i have in my bag are from the Cache and quest) This GM didn’t take the time to actually look into what i was talking about AT ALL.

I am having the same issue with the Quartered Ancient Ring: I have one, but the other 3 are unobtainable since I’ve already finished the centurion vehicle quest and the entire assault event. I’ve spent hours in the area, WM on and off, and still haven’t come across the Mad Maw Construct or the ring on the floor (even with the gromit). My theory with what information i’ve gathered from people who have finished it is that the 4 quartered ancient rings need to be collected before the final assault quest and the three bosses @ the end. I too will have to wait until the next Necrolord assault to confirm this.
Also, wtf GMs, pay attention to your clients.

Time for a friendly update:
Since it’s that time of the month again, the bi-monthly Necrolord assault I thought I’d go ahead and bump this to keep everything in one nice neat thread. After going around and scanning the ground everywhere (Yes, I have the first ring dragment, yes I went and re-opened the starter chest it drops from to make sure it’s not being derpy. Heck, I even have ALL the spawn points sitting on my map, lookin like it’s got chickenpox.) Here are my results–
Ground Object – Not active.
Putting a Plan Together – Not active.
As a result: Map quest - Currently Unobtainable
Maw Mad Construct- a No-show
This is very sad and an absolute shame because since this week’s quest for the RNG twins is “Pulling His Chain”. Meaning, in all likelihood in two weeks the nest quest will be “Heart and Soul” Meaning, boys and girls, it will be an entire additional month until the possibility of “Putting a Plan Together” spawning occurs.
Seriously, who designed this?
Oh! But the pet parts are active, which… …is basically nothing.

Just wanted to add to the threat and say that I am also experiencing this clusterduck of a quest.
Likewise I have one piece have been checking the caches I can get to and runaround the area like a chicken with my head cut off while using the Gromit pet. I’ve yet to get the Kyrion golem quest after using it once not realizing it was needed for the mount pieces and today is the second assault where that quest does not come up during the Necrolord assault. I’m not sure what to do here.
Another Necrolord assault, another no-show for any of the other three items. I didn’t stick around for an hour in predition hold this time waiting for derpus to spawn, but if the ground object isn’t up it’s likely it isn’t as well. Also, for some reason last assault’s in the wings quest was up again. Meaning it’ll probably be 2 more assaults before the mount can be completed again. Unless you need the chest mount don’t even bother doing it.

could some one post a string so I can see if I had them, It is over the 30 days restoration so im screwed
