If you ever had a chance to ask about “premades” boosting, cheating, evoker d/c knocks, griefing, throwing in rated pvp, reporting, gameplay sabotage, toxic communication, class bugs, epic BG lag, arena bugs, que syncing, banning premades, raid sync, MMR system, reporting, que times, epic bg, placement games, duo q for solo rated pvp, DR, UI, addons, que signups, 3s bracket, healer FC, monks having 7 abilites disabled in pvp with the flag and no other class in the game has that, crackling jade lightning no knocking back, them looking at pvp forums
then here is your chance!
I hope it’s not scripted but more than likely is. Tried last AMA with I think 3rd and 4th most liked posts about updating ebgs and raid queues but was never mentioned after they advertised the “most liked” topics would be chosen.

The only approved PvP question(s) will be chosen to give Ion a chance to insist PvP is in a great spot. There’s really no need to answer any further questions. Midnight PvP is in a great spot.

Or as a collective. As US PvPers we could all come together and “spam” the partnered community discords with our questions over and over again until they are picked and answered. Ruthless Renegades has like 2000 epic bg members, community and guild. AVM has 999+ community members. DJL has alot. Clan Battlehammer has alot. ISR has alot. SWEAT has alot. BG Rats has alot.
It wouldn’t be considered spam either if “each” player asked the same exact question or similar questions.
If the same question is asked 20 times in every community discord by 20 unique different discord profiles and its not brought up to the top. Then yeah, its scripted.
Might be different this time if Asha is involved.

If you put all those together they probably equal out to probably 4000-5000 absolute maximum (probably way to much) but lets give it the benefit of the doubt total people who care about premades and trying to get the power of family back into pvp.
4000-5000 is literally nothing compared to the pve crowd….or the housing crowd….or the m+ crowd….or the solo crowd.
You also have to imagine probably at least a qaurter of all those guilds is just everybody’s alts lmao.
If your only talking about the people who play epics and world pvp you are talking about probably 2000 max if you add in regular randoms it probably goes up by a bit by not anything crazy.
I hate to be the guy to rain on the parade but thats the reality.
I know you guys in your discords think your like the center of the universe but in reality you are very…very…VERY minute in comparison to the grand picture of the game and the things blizzard has to balance attention to.
Not to mention the consensus among those 2000 odd players is anything but unified and its probably well below that cause increasingly i’m queing sitting 7-10 minute ques just to get the exact same people from the last game… on both teams.

If you do that they will ban you (I will ban you) and your questions won’t get submitted.
The premade stuff has not only been attempted to be asked before it has been submitted directly to team members (multiple times). The cheating stuff as well.

It’s not scripted. But they do selected which questions will be asked. Again the quantity has nothing to do on whether the question will be asked.
Expecting Ion to answer these questions is kind of hilarious because the likelihood is almost zero. No matter how much you spam and so on. In fact I can’t remember the last time it even happened at all. If we get any PvP questions answered it would be a miracle.
Note: There isn’t even a designated PvP community discord that has been approved yet so we are lucky we have a few communities that are willing to take questions and try to submit them (I am a mod in one of them). Spamming them doesn’t help anyone.

So, I’m not so certain Ion isn’t right.
Data this season compared to season 1 of TWW. This represents total CHARACTERS not players since there is no good way to track per account or people that have multiple accounts. Also keep in mind Midnight S1 isn’t finished yet either.

So I am going to be 100%. When Ion says “successful” he is only talking metrics. Which not all the metrics (that we can see anyway) line up with “successful”. Both BG brackets fell off, Even though Blitz is seen as the easier way to gain rating. Not 100% that is true honestly. RBGs are just beyond dead. All the arena brackets are up pretty big though.
I will say Blitz drop off is less concerning because that is being compared to it’s first full season ever. For Instance DF S1 compared to TWW season 1 of RSS:
DF S1: 172326
TWW S1: 162489
RSS is out performing it’s first season ever though as far as per character.
It will be interesting to see final numbers for Midnight S1 in a month or so.

They dude has done these before and it was the Charlie Brown teacher and no real answers to the legit issues players have.

Kind of. The bigger issue is there are like 30 approved communities AND no PvP communities on that list yet. There are some communities that definitely have a history of doing PvP community stuff and leaders that do PvP (a lot) that are willing to asked PvP questions. The problem is with that many communities will all kinds of focuses I worry the PvP questions won’t get answered since we have no real representation. Not to mention with that many communities involved there was already going to be a small window to get questions answered.
i would blame this on CC. in arena im sure its better but in BGs you spend half the fight CC’d which isn’t fun.
Ya they seem to be addressing this in the next patch a little. But I think the volatile nature of MMR and placement games in Blitz have had a negative effect on Blitz as well. It’s pretty easy to end up in MMR hell if you start out bad. Meaning so low your queues are as long as top rated people. RBGs have been dead since Blitz came out pretty much though but the numbers have only gotten worse it seems.

I’ve been enjoying Blitz. I’ll get 2100 - buy those ugly transmogs weapons… wait until season 2, and play 100 games on a single character. I might go for 200 games in season 3.
If you can get by the Honor Level 9 Healers rocking agility weapons… it’s not so bad.
