Q: Canon / iconic classes per heritage armor

If the heritage armor sets represent the spirit, culture, and mindset of a WoW race, then what class would a certain race should be?

Which heritage armor looks best for which class?

Please share your opinions

i.e. Nightborne heritage looks best on mages, etc.

Edit: Don’t forget about the new Worgen and Goblin sets.

Tauren heritage is 100% shaman focused.

What about the new heritage set for Worgen and Goblin?

I don’t think so. They both have totems on their backs, and totems are a shaman thing, so I think it’s shaman for both.

Yeah but HM are all about their stupid eagle pets. I say Surv Hunter.

Well that’s the only thing it could be.

We go on a spiritual journey to connect with our ancestors through the use of hallucinogens. Afterwards we get a costume covered in feathers, with a bone mail chest piece. Oh, and I almost forgot. The giant totem on the back!

All that sounds fairly Shamanistic to me.

I would add shaman. Fire elemental says a lot!

There’s more eagle on the Tauren set than the Highmountain Tauren set.

Worgen seem like Hunters, they look dressed up for a Fox Hunt, mastiff at their heel.

I see your point, but the plate look doesn’t yell ‘shaman’ to me.

I wasn’t talking about their armor, I’m just saying most of them have an eagle pet. Doesn’t the leader have one? Maya or whatever her name is?

Mayla is a Warrior.

The Highmountain Tauren are split across 4 tribes:

Highmountain Tribe: Generic. Nothing special about them. The boss tribe.

Rivermane Tribe: Shamanistic. Likes water. Provides the others with food and healing.

Bloodtotem Tribe: Angry. Bad. Sold themselves to the Legion. Came back beaten.

Skyhorn Tribe: The one with the eagle fetish.

People associate the Highmountain with the eagles because the leader of the Skyhorn follows us around like a stalker, but the truth is: Most Highmountain Tauren aren’t that strongly associated with eagles.

Oh. Ok. Well, I’m still going with Surv Hunter. That’s how I picture them.

Lasan Skyhorn officially named Horde’s Creepy Uncle.

He is kinda the fun creepy uncle though, not the bad creepy uncle.

I mostly play goblin, and I really like the new armor set, but it seems like it would be best on any class that has engineering for a profession. They create all that wonky machinery as it is. They would look awesome in their creations.
