Pvper's read this. please

I just seldom like priest tier sets. Pally and shaman have had some bangers.

Your name suites you well.

I guess TLDR of this post is, blizzard is letting us know as a playerbase, they are open to bringing back unobtainable, seasonal exclusive rewards at the cost of the challenge being harder than the original.

You can say what you want about the comparison to vicious mounts and ksm mounts, its not about that. Its hardly even a fair comparison because vicious mounts don’t even leave, and you can literally get them at 1000 rating… its ridiculous, no one cares.

If we could get one old tabard/pvp illusion/elite set at 2300+, and an old glad mount at 2700+, ONCE per season, I think this would incentivize people who maybe stop at their elite set, to push further, and people who stop at the glad mount (2300) to push further.

My glads usually end at me around 2600, if you’re telling me I could go get ANOTHER glad mount if I got 25 more wins above 2700, i’m Pushing for it, and i’m sure many other people would too.

Yes. It seems like they’re adding a “gladiator mount” which WILL remain exclusive, and making the old KSM mounts be saddle equivalents.

I’m completely okay with that.

The goal is to incentivize people to have a goal to work towards and not always chase the bare minimum and cry about “gatekeeping” when they don’t log in and instantly get every reward instantly.

I think it should only be elite sets, and everything else should remain retired. Rotate the elite sets every season. But seasonal rewards should still be a thing.

Ironic to return to % cutoffs and put it at a higher % threshold than current glad lmao.

make all mounts obtainable to everyone it does not matter or make you cool it’s a flag in a db. Games are meant for entertainment not status symbols cause you got nothing else to cling to.

Time to bring back .5% gladiator.

Its called getting glad before month 6 hahaha

I don’t know how I would feel about getting old elite/glad mounts through playing current seasons. The fomo is half of the reason to play hard during a season, with the other half being a love for the game and friends.

I would however love to see more mounts added to 2s, shuffles, and RBG’s even if they are variants or different from 3s mounts. It would just be nice to have more exclusive rewards (rewards that don’t suck like pennants) tied to specific brackets.

No thank you

I mean yeah but that’s boring.

Serious note, having 2s/3s should be the only brackets to grant the old elites.

I think it’s interesting for sure.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that you can’t lose rating for keys, whereas you can lose rating for pvp, which makes it much easier to sell/carry m+ titles.

Doing this would be the worst mistake of all. If the legacy elite sets return, it should be for all queues, just as they should release the gladiator mount for all queues. Keeping rewards locked to specific queues has always been a mistake, and they are taking far too long to correct it.

Yeah, Blitz ain’t gettin that bud.

I don’t care about rewards at all, just quality game play and balancing

It is because of this conservative thinking that we can’t have anything good in PvP and it has been stagnant for years, instead of welcoming with open arms more players who want to invest time in this game mode, they only drive them away with that elitist attitude that if you don’t get the rewards in 2s and 3s it doesn’t count.

Hate to break it to you but, since the more lenient BfA system was placed PvP has gone downhill. Why? Because most current rewards became trivial rather than something to work towards.

Honestly, I’d rather them not bring any of it back because in the long run it won’t do :poop:.

The only thing it’s going to do is destroy any prestige left for those sets because all it will attract is players that don’t care for PvP but want those sets then they’ll quit PvPing again (most likely resulting on massive amounts of boosting & abusing heavily inflated brackets like Blitz or DF shuffle).

If they had to come back, would have to be in 2s/3s.

Because pvp wasnt fun anymore and bfa had 40% of the playerbase of the previous expansion. I don’t think it had anything to do with swapping from % to stagnant rewards. Genuinely who cares about % based rewards other than the people consistently getting .5% mounts
