I understand a lot of people are tired of Abomb necroing posts, but I’d take that as a necessary evil if it gets warlocks nerfed. Ignoring the absurd power of the class; it makes arenas so UNFUN. If you try to fight them at any point pre-dampening (assuming you actually get to play the game through fear spam, roots, double coil, infernal stun, pet kick and shadowfury) they just do more damage than you and heal through 30% of your damage, so you can’t viably trade.
The best answer to playing against locks in the current meta is literally to not interact with them as much as possible. It’s not enjoyable to stagger through full DRs of CC, then run from infernals and darksoul because you WILL lose the game in <2 seconds from empowered bolts + microCC only to come back out when they’re over to get CCd again to full DR and have ~1minute window to kill (which is insanely difficult because they’re so tanky and STILL trade more effectively without CDs???) only to repeat the process again.
Please… do something to nerf warlocks…
You really think Blizzard is going to decide to nerf destro locks because of Abomb’s “necessary evil”?
Maybe they saw that it’s mostly just one person (and his alts) necroing and bumping a lot of threads to manipulate the forums.

Abomb smells like sweaty feet and poops with the door open
I like how Blizzard is basically saying that warlock/mage/healer is fine through these patch notes.
No I think they will fix Destro because they are a game breaking spec that has ruined the majority of the players experience. This isn’t about one player it’s about majority that plays this game asking for fixes to a completely broken spec.
We the community just want destro fixed. This very thread illustrates that.
This situation is bigger than The Abomb, You or anyone else. This is about uniting as one to fight against the great tyranny that Destro has brought upon us. The People want to play the game and that happens when Destro is fixed.
No when you spam things and stomp your feet like he does, without actually offering constructive criticism all he becomes is white noise.
The irony of a “pvp tank” saying this. Rich

Y’all got any more of those PvP tuning changes? For this Tuesday maybe?

Not exactly. They admitted to Destro being toxic to PvP in their Shadowlands patch where they changed how Grimoire of Supremacy works. If they don’t nerf Warlocks on live after that, it’s purely because they don’t feel like it.

Businesses don’t work very well or profit if they only do things “They Feel Like”.
Businesses are successful by providing outstanding customer service. Their lack of action only hurts their profits and SL sales.
If they’re against a deadline, I’d rather they spend their time making sure SL PvP is good.
At this point, trying to fix BFA PvP is laughably late.

Well, their record has been pretty consistent with BfA so far, so there’s that. Barely any changes in the class design department for the entire expansion
It’s sad because they’ve cornered themselves into a corner for the most part. BfA has been so bad to class design with so much stuff working on top of other stuff (extreme RNG, Azerite traits, Essences, corruption, etc.) that if they try and fix something, they risk breaking other 10. Destro is a good example of this, except they broke it to uber OP levels instead.
It literally takes one afternoon to put in some Hotfixes. These aren’t drastic class design the players are asking for. Just super easy to implement balance changes.
The reason we went to this new system was so it was easy to implement changes fast from a Dev stand point. Nerfing forced chaos by 50% or doing a full balance patch is a few hours of work while drinking coffee. It isn’t rocket science.
Yeah, everything is super easy to implement, especially balance changes…

Anything that takes a few hours is easy. The system is in place already. Changing the value of a few spells takes a few hours. It’s half a days work. Then a Blue posting the changes.
Sorry but since they implemented the new system to make coding changes easy and fast they lost that ground to stand on saying it’s hard or difficult to change how spells work in PvP.
So not sure why you are defending them not taking half a day to make a balance pass. Seriously just spend half a day and fix what the community is asking for then go back to SL. We aren’t asking for the moon.

Are you talking about Legion’s template system?
Yeah, that was pretty nice. They frequently fine-tuned specs and spells in PvP.
No… I am talking about the coding of spells. They implemented a better system (before Legion) to have easy control over making balance fixes in PvP. This way when PvP needs fixes it doesn’t mess up how they work in PvE.
So literally making a few changes to specs is half a days work from a coder drinking some coffee then a Blue posting about it.
Which means just freaking fix the game since you implemented the system (before legion) to make fast, swift and easy spell changes. Literally just use the system you bragged about putting in all those years ago!
Hmm… I think that’s a Legion thing.
No one is talking about template or legion we are talking about the coding. Anyways… it takes an afternoon to make adjustments. This system was in place before Legion thanks. How do you think they made changes in WoD? With the new system.
Sigh… you are so biased and off topic.
This is why players get frustrated because it literally is half a days work for them to fix their game. Just do it!! It’s not hard to change a spell value from 65% to 25%. Make it so! Spend a few hours doing the Hotfixes then go back to working on SL.
NO ONE should be saying that they don’t have time to do this. There is no excuse!
