PVPers, there needs to be more versatility and more damage overall not less… nerfing conflict and strife this late into the season is clearly a change favored for cheesy classes like rouges and mages.
I find it hard to agree or disagree with you, as a Disc priest I have died in Dome with 65% defensive vers.
But then I realize, this defensive vers also helps the people who do not die in the first place, like Warlock.
Maybe the problem is not vers in particular but just the entire game right now and nerfing vers will not fix any of the other problems.
At all, and that’s why these sweeping changes they are announcing and testing are so poorly received, sweeping changes are never good. and they never address the problem
I really hope at some point we get some changes that make me feel as though 2.1 is something I can get on my Priest this season. :\
Atm it feels hopeless, I should have done it in past seasons when I was in 2.2 MMR games. My mistake for lack of ambition I suppose.
You don’t get rewarded for playing more so your attitude is a intelligent one to have, there is no reward or incentive for setting pvp goals or reaching them.
I have been doing 1.8 on each armor type this xpac since it seemed like an achievable goal for me, so far it has been.
I was usually at 2.2 MMR on my priest by the time I hit 1.8 in past seasons, should have just went for it.
Guess I am going to just have to get good by Rerolling Warlock.
If you honestly feel like a warlock is going to get you where you need to go then go for it. lmao
Even if I wanted to go that route, the thought of all the catch up I would need to do makes me decide against.
It doesn’t sound like the class is your problem, it’s the system you’re against, that we are all against, it’s blizzards fault. this system punishes you for playing into it, and it’s especially transparent, in pvp.
I can’t really entirely agree with that, if I was better I could get to 2.1.
I will say that I currently feel like 2.1 is harder this season than the past 3(for me). In the end it is always just a ‘get better’ thing I guess, but fixes to the game would be appreciated.
Do you have a max level monk? If so, just try running it in M+ compared to your shaman. I know for priest it’s night and day. 9 stack of bursting? Grevious? Hardly feel it on the monk. Work your hands to the bone on a priest. Some classes are just playing a different game
It’s never “get better” when the ceiling is non existent. how do you get better at a system that’s 1. incredible rng based. 2. offers little to no visual clarity and 3. disinsitivize it’s self. It’s running on a hamster wheel for a game that was good almost a decade ago. With the same maps… and the same mechanics.
And it’s not in a good way for the most part.
Hourly nerf lock please comment
I just changed my disc traits to holy for bursting week. Infinitely easier but it does like no damage Granted my monk, druid, and pally usually don’t have much trouble healing dungeons.
Same. Feelsbad
I play Disc Priest and Rsham, lol.
I still make a lot of mistakes, if I was to make less mistakes then my rating would be higher.
I can blame some of it on my horrible gear and bad game balance but in the end, if I was better then my rating would be higher.
I actually got all of my 15s done this week as Disc, I had a DK tank friend help me get into groups though because no one wanted a 455il Disc for 15s.
Now I have wormboy mount, very cute.
At this point Blizz must be trolling us… seriously, what the actual flock …
