I don’t think people are trying to will a pirate expansion into existence, there’s just a lot of pirate themed stuff around of late and i can totally understand why people are starting to think that the next expansion is in fact pirate themed.

I wonder why there would be a lot of pirate themed stuff in (and leading up to) September. I’m sure it has nothing to do with an in-game pirate themed holiday on September 19 that has existed for nearly a decade now, or the real life unofficial/parody holiday (“Talk Like a Pirate Day”) on the same date that has existed for longer than this game has. No, it must be the theme for the new expansion.
I don’t know, it all seems a bit much to be seeing pirate stuff sprinkled all over the place for months just because of some micro-event 
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that its definitely a pirate/nautical themed expansion, i just said that i can see why people have been saying it, it kinda makes sense.
