PVP is officially dead

Because it killed 10v1 open world ganking? I feel ya.

Well, hes not that big brained, he thought no one would notice he has NO PVP experience in anything then suddenly on Oct 26th he gets a 2200 rating in 3s. Then comes in on a forum and thinks we wont notice.

Does that make him the BFA baby he’s calling other people LMFAO

Show us on the practice dummy where the rogue touched you

1: I was on beta, with 20 more ilvl than I am now I had 10k more HP. By the time you’re in Mythic gear you’ll have almost double.
2: Why does it matter if a rogue gets a defensive trinket? Does that help them kill you in a stun? Wtf are you talking about? You also get 20% more vers which is 10% less damage taken. If the only time a rogue can kill you is during his burst, once everyone has trinkets like the cheat death one, rogues value in the opener will be neutered. Your lack of game knowledge about this is astounding.
3: Unfortunately enough people whined about being bad that they dumpstered MM, and slightly nerfed rogue. And the funny thing is none of this will help you in your RBGs when you run into double spriest, double aff, boomy teams while the rogue goes and back caps

Look at the date this toon hit 50 LOLLLL

Mainly in the lower back.

I guess it would!

You should look up the percentage of players that own Glad Drakes, from any tier.

Its less than one percent of the players base.

Less than one percent of the player base owns Glad Drakes, from any tier in the history of the game.

That should tell you everything you need to know about WoW PVP

** BFA might have seen an increase in Glad Drake ownership due to the exploits, I havent seen those numbers yet

PVP havent even started yet how is it dead already lol

Do you know how gladiator worked before BFA?

Really grasping at straws there. Whats the lvl date of prolly an alt, have to do with anything?

It depends on the class.

While I’m all for MM being nerfed (although I do not think they should have been nerfed as badly, and in reality, MM got indirectly buffed, so they’re fine), the reality is that any actual arena teams right now are going to understand the point behind peeling and recognizing someone committing.

I’m a spriest. If I get cheap shot, and I disperse, and he hasn’t popped something, I’m dead and I know it. Panic dispersing is the last thing I should do in that situation. The same goes for big cooldowns such as trinket and other such things. People overreact all the time right now and pop things without needing too because the whole point to a really quick meta is it makes people trigger happy. They’re afraid they’re gonna die in 3 seconds (which - to be fair, some people are) and they kneejerk react.

I was skimming with my team yesterday and trying to get a feel for the meta. Yes. It’s very quick right now. But the chaos is navigation capable provided someone’s in the hot seat and paying attention to cooldowns. Again, I’m a shadow priest. If I see resonating arrow, or wild spirits, I have no choice but the greater fade because I know if I don’t, I’m dead in 2 seconds. Other people need to be able to recognize when someone is trying to kill you.

You do know that we can see ALL your PVP achievs and xp on your account and not just this toon?

Yes, so when did I get 2k? Season 2 BFA. As I said, I played between 2k-2.2k?

Well said.

I see you dont own any Glad Drakes either

Thanks

I mean this is true and 99.5% of the player base can always improve but that doesn’t have anything to do with how the game is balanced. I personally prefer fast meta to slow meta and i have faith blizz will make logical changes. For example i love the rog nerf i see today very specific not overdone slowly pulling them back in line.

Nobody is saying thats bad. People are upset you’ll still lose after doing everything you can correctly before most of your team will react.

Which is the 2nd part of things. I’m fine with if you don’t want nerfs to things, but then every spec needs their resonating arrow or wild spirits. If everything had it. That’ll be awful pvp. So clearly a nerf is needed. Priests might be able to avoid it, but other things not so much.

Indeed I’ve never gotten gladiator. Gladiator before BFA was given only to the top 0.5% of the ladder.

How would more than 1% of people get the mount if its only given to 0.5% of people?

You won’t though?

like 80% of specs are insane rn? Some are undertuned for sure, but why are we not buffing those instead of nerfing everything else?

Right, and I understand this. As I said in another thread, what’s needed right now is aggressive tuning. MM, and other specs being nerfed right now is fine because HP pools are still small. What needs to happen is Blizzard needs to not hide behind the nonsensical explanation they gave in BFA, which is hiding behind “letting the meta develop organically”, and classes should be tuned for arena regularly.

That way, in a month or two months when people get much more gear through raiding, M+, and arena, then if MM needs to be buffed again, or sub needs to be buffed again or whatever, they can be. If other specs are outliers and are worse, they can be. If someone’s off healing becomes too much (ret paladins, I’m looking at you because it’s already busted), they can be adjusted.

The point mainly is, you have to fix these things now. I heard some people say “Well, don’t nerf yet because we all haven’t got our gear, vers, etc…:” Well, do you think these OP classes aren’t going to get theirs either? Obviously blizz saw the issue and they fixed it. That is what good games do. Fix now, tweak later if needed…
