They are. Almost all alliance racials are better for pvp in bfa. More people are horde because the community is already there and pve guilds are mostly horde.
If anything they should make your racials better for pve.
For example, overall win rates in random battlegrounds are “shockingly even,” he said. The Isle of Conquest and Alterac Valley battlegrounds tend to favor Alliance “a bit” and everything else skews mildly to the Horde, with a win rate of 54%-46%, he said. Rated battlegrounds, which can queue teams of Alliance vs. Alliance or Horde vs. Horde, aren’t included in those calculations.
I had hoped to see more changes to War mode on the surface rather than just back end improvements. The changes made to sharding , which still isn’t perfect, help diminish the effect of the various limitations and they’re very important but the biggest challenge is getting people to engage.
We really need to bring back the world quest paragon cache for mounts. WQs are the biggest points of interest for wPvP and if they just tied that into paragon reputation I think that would really help. Of course this also means that the technology used to make the sides “even” would need to work really well. I don’t know what I can/can’t share so I’ll just say that when we go to Najatar in 8.2 that would be an excellent opportunity to try something like this without worrying about zones tied into each factions “capital” for that expansion content.
I want to see War Mode do well in BFA and I want to see it carried over successfully throughout the future of WoW.
Maybe it doesn’t have to be the paragon cache, I’m partial to that because it’s something that allows the content to be replayed while remaining an incentive, but either way I want to see some changes on the surface.
Sorry to derail from the Battleground topic
I’m sure something could be done to fight for the factions represented in the battleground rather than Horde vs Alliance

Looks quite obvious to me that sometime shortly after the BFA expansion, Alliance was making a comeback in the RBGs and apparently Blizz got panicky and flipped a switch at HQ. Battle grounds were starting to be enjoyable again. Wins weren’t guaranteed but neither was a loss. Now it’s just awful and been that way for the past few month as clearly shown on the graph. Most curious to me is the drastic turn from Alliance wins to quick losses. One can almost pick the date sometime in late September early October.
And I don’t buy that “well Horde are just better players” crap. Plenty of us roll both HnA and know better
This is just my guess so take it with a grain of salt if you will, but PvPers are back to PvPing.
Imo, early Sept-ish everyone was leveling at the time. Fresh expansion and there’s lots of new stuff to try out. Rep gains, war campaign quest lines, figuring out mains, etc
Fast forward to late Sept-present and all that’s basically done now. Ppl have figure out their mains and we are now past the “leveling” honeymoon portion and into the meat of the expansion.
In my experience, yes it’s just mine, Ally can’t win a dang thing. Just got out of some epics here at 4 AM. 0 for 4, my horde pally is 112 and rising, I want to queue with ION!!!
73% of all the top PVPers are horde. That is 3 of every 4 top players are horde. Do you not realize how shockingly un balanced that is? My question is why?
