Why should I have to pve to excel at pvp?
Why cant I get the same or better rewards from doing just pvp.

No the problem is they are all pvers with pve mindsets where gear is the end goal and pvp gear is at most a mid point to step off into the real end, testing your skills against others on an exact equal footing
Not that the chest matters much right now but just got yet another useless item (ring with good ol crit)… 4 weeks running with no upgrade from PvP? Chest or conquest participation reward.

PVP Gearing is still horrid. That´s my report for today, back to you Venruki.
Hopped into Mechagon with my 3s team last night. We were waffle stomped into submission.
After about 2 hours of dying I found that I think I’d rather get my caboot kicked all season in 3s than spend every day of my life for the next few months in that bogus scripted junk trying to gear for PVP. I got home at 5pm last night and played until 7:30, the only thing I accomplished was dying and having absolutely no fun.
2018 to 2019. Can confirm pvp sucks. Give a vendor.
I only gear to world pvp.
What happened to playing how you want? Pve gear, including trinket, is so stupid for pvp.

Yeah it really is underwhelming gearing via rated PvP compared to just spending 30 mins doing a +10 that you can basically complete by clicking your spells and have a chance of a duelist base item level loot and an even bigger guaranteed loot at the end of the week. Just started playing the new season and have about 60 wins across all characters I played with and only saw one 415 item which I bonus rolled. And the new quest with the Quartermaster Prizes… come on… is this a meme? 40 prizes for one trophy?
EDIT: I just bonus rolled AP in arena?? we no longer get Quartermaster currency???
And it gets worse, the new essence dealing 100k + mechagnome trinket laser + incoming raid items is so cancer. Even season 1 was good compared to this season and season 2.
Lol yeah I just got randomly hit for 85k by the mechagon laser thing. Very fun.
