PVP from a twink players perspective, & my solution to fixing it

Everyone has the right to post here regardless of opinion I have not seen anyone saying otherwise. Just the same people who disagree with that opinion also have the right to post.

I dont think you guys are comprehending the points I am trying to make.
This is about more than class balance. This is more than gear. We are talking a synergized, organized environment being able to queue into an unexpecting team of levelers for predetermined games. If it wasnt ruining so many peoples gaming experience, there wouldn’t be so many people crying about it.

And if you think I use the wow forums as my source for “majority audience” then you are sadly mistaken. I’ve stated my sources and thoughts throughout this entire thread. I thought with me being on the opposite end of the stick, that there may be more of a possibility that this topic gets some light shined on it.

At this point everybody should be aware of the ridiculously bad state of battlegrounds until about level 60. Hunters (in particular, not solely) are beyond overpowered if equipped with heirlooms and enchants until then, leading to an extreme disproportion of hunters and other “cheap” classes. In fact most any class with proper heirlooms is unstoppable. It’s so bad now. Everybody knows about the GY camp problems and the fact that it is an occasion to celebrate if you get in an evenly matched, competitive battleground where it really could go either way. Every time I queue as an alt, it’s either steamroll or be steamrolled with almost no in between.

Heirlooms used to be stronger than regular gear up until you could get bc pvp / raid gear, now normal gear is on par.

edit: I’m pretty sure thats around the time you could kill people with 1 explosive shot too, i literally have a screenshot of going 20-1 with no gear and a white bow in the 10-19 bracket from cata/mop or whenever it was.

This was well prior to them scaling BGs to the highest level within their brackets.

Sometimes normal gear also surpasses heirlooms, drastically even. Certain procs and sockets are more valuable than 'looms.

pay no attention to the trolls, they are not interested in changing anything, including their minds. I have spent a lot of time trying to open their eyes but they just want to remain willfully ignorant. I applaud your efforts here anyways, and its nice to have an honest discussion.

I agree with that and I agree We’re all entitled to opinions, friend. I’m more referring to those regulars who add no value to the conversation and don’t really have an opinion outside of trying to help a friend fight their battles which is not uncommon.

If I were in your position (a twink) I would rather a longer Q with better competition than a short Q to beat up on target dummies.

Both sides queue in order to match Battlegrounds.
Premades are more likely matched with other premades.

If nobody is on, I can queue at any time solo.

that was when Looms were basically OP.
as another mentioned, that was also before they scaled everyone to the top of the bracket…if I am correct.

I saw it coming, some are on my Epic Gift team.
This has been in the works for a while now, 19s and 29s are salty that people found better brackets. That was the beginning.
